Crazy salty fries. Soup was ok. Had to ask for new water glasses-filthy. Sandwich was soggy and under salted. Champagne was so warm I had to add my own ice to it. Service was just ok. Never checked back on us once and the dining room was empty.

Cauliflower Romanesco was GREAT. Split with friend, along with the Cobb salad. Perfect for lunch

We have been to La Fia multiple times and the food and service never disappoint. Main dishes, gnocchi and branzino were excellent. Service was superb and we had no problem making it to our show even they were extremely busy. Food is a great value given the quality and portion sizes.

Excellent service by Natasha. LF continues to offer some of the best food and cocktails in New Castle County.

We love La Fia, so it was an easy choice to come to celebrate a friend's birthday, but it was an extra delight to have it be Restaurant Week, with a whole special menu of new things to discover! Everything we had was AMAZING--we really hope a lot of the dishes find their way to the regular menu. The shrimp toast was absolutely outstanding--absolutely incredible. The beignets with a chive sauce and rhubarb jam were an absolute delight. The tuna tartare, a version of which has been on the regular menu, was exceptional. And then the entrees were fantastic as well: the short rib was superb (and I loved the roasted balsamic strawberries!), and others loved the branzino and the chicken. Top it off with amazing desserts new and favorites, and it was another incredible meal, with the best cocktails and service to accompany it. Thank you, as always!

The food was prepared well the duck was delicious and juicy, the little gem salad was good yet not as spicy as I anticipated from the description. The braised short ribs were very flavorful and melted in your mouth. The potatoes were crispy with a nice salty coating. The halibut was tasty yet uninspired. The grilled mushrooms were very well prepared but the rest of the dish was lacking a place of it's own; just kind of bland fish dish on puréed potatoes which let's face it is the least creative side. Dessert was well thought out and prepared. I had the pistachio torte which was excellent and my gorgeous date had the chocolate cake which was similarly excellent. For cocktails the Amalfi spritz was refreshing with a hint of hibiscus and not bitter like an Aperol spritz and the bone dry dirty martini met the mark.

Thoroughly enjoyed a perfect Restaurant Week three-course dinner at La Fia last night. For the first course, my husband and I both ordered the Fig Toast with whipped pistachio and aged gouda--it was a unique but completely harmonious convergence of flavors. For the main course, I had the Braised Beef Short Rib, which was so tender that it melted in my mouth--and the tomato conserve was a faintly sweet but excellent complement to the beef. Hubby ordered the Coriander-Crusted Halibut in Shitake Broth, which he pronounced the best meal he'd had in the past couple of years. We hope both dishes end up on the permanent menu. Desserts were also lovely and creative. And I would be remiss not to mention our terrific and attentive waitress Natasha who helped make the whole experience a pleasure!

The food was amazing- we had the pork belly appetizer that was paired with peaches and Indian sauce that when eaten together, was next level good! The service was very good, making sure to check on us, while not bringing food out too quickly. The location was perfect walk from The Queen Hotel and the parking lot.

I think it was good overall, however, I don't believe it was worth the almost $200 that we paid. Well, the food was good and it was a nice service and everything. They tried to be too upscale for the area that they are in. Also, I have no earthly idea why they turned the AC off halfway through our appetizer and it got very hot in the restaurant and did not turn back on until dessert. Was a little less attentive and did not always stop by the table to see how things were or if we needed anything.

Loved the pop up lunch! Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - it gets extremely loud in the dining room Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Waitress was attentive, but seemed irritated Food SHORT RIB EMPANADAS 15 cotija cheese, chimichurri ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BUTTERMILK FRIED CHICKEN SALAD 20 smoky bacon, mixed greens, cherry tomato, toasted pecans*, shredded cheddar cheese, black beans, honey mustard dressing, corn tortilla strips ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ HOUSE ROASTED BEEF 18 caramelized onions, horseradish sauce, blue cheese, arugula, toasted baguette ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would have rated 5 stars but it needed an jus and honey mustard on it as it was a little dry and bland. Roll was amazing! Fries were the best I ever tasted.

Food is excellent. Some of the menu changes I didn't like but overall the food is still good.

Very loud. Particularly if at the row of two tops near the bar. Focacia and chicken liver mousse were outstanding. Gnocchi was very good. Corn agnolotti was way over salted. No corn flavor. The over whelmed taste was of a toasty cheese bread. Would skip this dish. Desert was very good, but would think you'd place spoons instead of forks for any desert that include ice cream. Disappointed only one wine by bottle on menu. Overall would recommend, bur don't plan on having an intimate dinner for two.

We celebrated a birthday and had a brilliant diner. We ordered from the Wednesday nite Prix Fixe menu. Delicious! Highlights included the Tuna Credo Appetizer, Grilled Pork Coppa, and the German Sekt to go with the appetizers. Our server was excellent and very attentive to our questions about the wine list as well paying superb attention to us on what was a busy midweek night. This was our second visit to La Fía and we definitely will be back.
