Love the service and the food was great! Highly recommended, and for the price, can't be beat! I ordered a burrito and a juice and it cost $14. The juice was huge and I took half the burrito home with me since I couldn't finish it. Love the free pumpkin seeds and chips for appetizers. If you're near here, especially after visiting the contemporary art museum, you just have to stop by!
I ordered a fried shrimp barito with beans, rice, and a side of salad. Everything was cooked to perfection. There were two sauces. I recognize one as a cucumber sauce, and I'm not sure of the other. I also had a homemade mango juice. It was delicious. There wasn't any sweetener added. Overall, I will be a returning customer, and I recommend LA MORENITA MEXICAN RESTAURANT.
La Morenita Mexican Restaurant is located inside of the Elizabeth Shopping Mall so you'll have plenty parking. I ordered the Enchiladas Especiales (Special Enchiladas) with Cecina (Salty seasoned beef) smother with green tomatillo salsa rice and beans ($11.50)Price is according to the portion served and the service is very friendly.
