"Disappointing Experience at La ToltecaI usually don't write negative reviews, but my recent visit to La Tolteca left me no choice but to share my experience. The service was shockingly inconsistent, and it seemed like the quality of service varied significantly from table to table.Unfortunately, my group of four got a server who seemed completely indifferent to our requests. It was as if he couldn't care less whether we received our food or not, and he showed no interest in addressing our long wait while others were severed. Despite this, we decided to tip him generously, hoping it might encourage him to improve his service in the future.To add insult to injury, two of our steak orders were a major disappointment. What was supposed to be a nice cut of meat turned out to be nothing more than a slab of fat, poorly disguised with a heap of fried onions.Overall, our experience at La Tolteca was far from enjoyable. It's disheartening to see such a lack of effort in both service and food quality. I hope the management takes note and works on these issues to avoid losing more customers."

the food is always good. me and my boyfriend love coming here. the service is usually fast. i get the rellena chicken quesadilla and my boyfriend gets the carnitas plate. its our go to date night restaurant . cannot recommend enough!

I had to grab a box for unfinished food but they didn't have a bag or something to carry it with. At all. So I don't think they do take out, unless you bring your own bag?Great food, on the salty side - but aside from health concerns, we all love good salty food. The horchata was definitely made with tap water and powder. The tortillas were horrible... it was soggy and wet and stale on the ends and couldn't bite through the edges. The ceviche had big lumps of shrimp and some whole shrimp and was lazily cut up. The meat in the taco weren't seasoned at all. Food was not good at all! The rice was very hard and old because when i trying to bite it would crunch. the service was good and staff were friendly just a shame that the food itself was microwaved and stale.

I’m the only vegetarian, the rest are meet eaters and they love it as wellVegetarian options: I order the enchiladas Mexicanos, with cheese instead of chicken, because I like the toppings.You can also get the tortilla soup without chicken. My favorite Mexican place in the area. We drive 30 minutes to come here, well worth it. Never had a bad meal here, enchiladas are the best. Salsa is delicious and fresh. Love this place!
