I ordered French toast, grits,and home fries. The French toast was the only good thing. Both the grits and home fries were under cooked and not good at all. In fact the potatos were cooked uneven. Never ate at a diner where the Mitch didn't know his to cook breakfast food. Won't do that again 3/10 At least it was still hot when j big it

Noticed hair in my food. I addressed it to the owner and he immediately became very defensive and insisted to accuse me for it. This was a cool place I would eat with family years ago. Unfortunately I will not be backâŠ.

If I could give this review zero stars, I would. I had the worst experience imaginable today. As âfresh foodâ was being served to us, we noticed a hair right on top of the hash browns that I ordered. I spoke to our waitress and she brought another one out, no problem. Next, there is gnat stuck within the side of the cup; mind you there were no flies, insects, or bugs at the table where we were dining at the entire time. Soon after, my friend tells me there was hair on plate that were served to us to use as side plates. I mention this to our waiter and she expressed this information to her manager because due to our experience and he was no help. We explained to this man how we have come to Libbyâs often as Wilmington natives and never ever had this issue whether itâs a to-go order, pickup, or DoorDash. The manager who was working was clearly the owner, and wanted to go back and forth on why these issues were happening. He said that the âthe hair in our food couldâve came from the air, the workers, or even usâ. Keep in mind, I donât even have the same hair texture or color as the waiter and or even a few of the workers there. After a lot of discourse, he thought adding a discount to our meal would suffice in this predicament and Iâm not sure how that would remedy anything weâve experienced. Not to mention, when I was explaining the issues to him he was not trying to make eye contact with me or acknowledge anything I was saying, and it seemed as if he only wanted to discuss this with a man. If that wasnât his intention, that is how I perceived it and told him that. He was argumentative, dismissive, and tried to talk over me many times. I guess this is the new management that has taken over Libbyâs and itâs terrible, 0/10 would recommend. Libbyâs used to be a staple breakfast restaurant for me. This new management is is beyond terrible and rude, I definitely not be back. Overall, our waiter was nice and I tipped her because this wasnât her fault, however, Libbyâs has some serious issues. The heath department definitely needs to visit the establishment, ASAP.

Libbys is a few blocks from where I live so very convenient to walk to. Customer service is usually great. But the food and atmospher keeps getting worse. There were flies hanging around and I had to seat myself at the least dirtiest table. Regarding the food; I ordered turkey sausage links that tasted like 100% pork links with the grease still dripping from the insides. The server would not be convinced otherwise that they were or have been cooked with pork sausages and became dismissive. Fun fact: she still got tipped but im not going back.

I been going to libbys since i came here, the food has always been awesome. I went there today, the over easy eggs, were over cooked, the potatoes were not brown, and i had more pepper and onions than potatoes. I waited for the replacement plate and ate my scrapple so i ordered anoter one. The potatos sucked the eggs were ok, shortly after i started throwing up violently. My boo said i think they gave you pork scrapple.im gonna hope this passes, because i would hate to think they charged me extra for beef, but gave me pork, especially since I dont eat pork
