My great grandson and I had a wonderful dining experience at Libby's! I would certainly recommend others to visit this refreshing eatery!

Not sure who's cooking now, but this was the nastiest breakfast I've ever had from libbys. Back in the day the food was jump. Packing was very messy, and super sloppy. Leaking out of the containers. No salt at all on any of our food. Home fries were chewy, and saltless. No flavor whatsoever. Turkey bacon was not cooked completely neither were the sausage. One was done the other was really pink inside. Toast soggy. Eggs salt and pepper less. Cream chipped beef would've had a good flavor if not for the jelly on the toast. Pancakes a flop. My grits were so sad. They were done just how I like them, but absolutely NO SALT! I tried to eat it after having to add my own seasonings.. I ended up giving up. A waste of money, and time.

If I could give a negative star I would. I am a Delaware Native and I returned home looking for Libby. I used to go there as a kid and eat breakfast with my family and later took my children. I visited once and was glad to see the original cook but today I ordered when he was walking out of the door. I ordered a turkey club sandwich with Turkey bacon. I am Muslim and appropriately dressed. I was ensured by the waitress that it would be all turkey products. I bit my sandwich and it was a turkey club sandwich with pork bacon and it was not done. I was very upset and dissatisfied and the waitress apologized and indicated in a joking manner that she shouldn’t have to babysit the cook. The staff and manager apologized but I am very dissatisfied that I had to eat pork against my will and my religion. Very careless unprofessional and the young lady at the register is very impolite because she stared at us the entire time. Needless to say I have a whole headache after that visit. Nasty and there were no fries. Libby please come back I would highly suggest that they pay better attention to Detail! Not a good way to represent for the Legacy of Libby’s.

The breakfast was horrible my food taste like it was old and rushed.. And not only that my breakfast platter and grits was soaked in butter my French toast was nasty it tastes as if it was made the day before.

Nice place! Felt very homely and welcoming. It's a bit out of the way but a friend took me there to try after he was impressed by it. I had the chipped beef on toast and it hit the spot. I also had a side of scrapple. Most places don't cook scrapple correctly but Libby's did a fine job with it, and that's coming from a guy that lives in scrapple territory! I will say that the potatoes needed salt, but I'd rather have to add salt than deal with having too much salt. The coffee was decent as well.
Oh yeah, talk about affordable! This is how breakfast should be priced!
Kid-friendliness: While I was walking out, two little kids in strollers were smiling and waving bye to us. The staff were having fun with them too. It was adorable so I'd say they're pretty kid friendly.

Order three platters only one came correct sent my son back up there to get the other two orders corrected and they still sent back the wrong stuff try to talk to someone they weren't listening talking over me you put someone else on the phone they're not listening talking over me I asked to speak to the female and they would not put her on the phone now my son has to go back there for the third time to get the rest of my order a very frustrating morning start my order was going to be corrected they sent Pork bacon I guess it's a good thing my husband eat pork because I don't very disappointed
The breakfast sandwich is delicious with butter toasted bread, fresh egg, thick bacon and gooey cheese. We phone in our take out order, and love the delicious coffee with cream & sugar. It’s a true treat on the weekends! I have not dined in, but looks like a clean safe environment.

I’ve always had a good experience at Libby’s. I’ve been eating here for many years. These new owners picked up the ball where the original owner left off and have been working hard ever since to keep the customers happy. They even take plastic now where before it was a cash only business.
