Food is really good, but combos are weird. Instead of one meat and two sides, it's two meats and one side. Sauces are weird too. This place is slightly overrated. Mission is better.

Love the food here, prices are very reasonable! They have a bourbon bar that I haven't had the chance to sample, but a great selection.

My husband and I have always wanted to try Limestone BBQ and was disappointed in the food. We purchased the Philthy Feast at $75. Food came out warm and to me and husband dry. No moisture at all to the food. Chicken was black, pull pork and brisket was so dry we had to put sauce on it to chew. The brisket rice was hard and not tasty. I understand all BBQ places are different but to me and husband this is a no return for us.

We hosted a whiskey tasting and Dalton went above and beyond to prepare for us! We expressed ideas for the tasting and allowed Dalton to run with it. Upon arrival we were impressed with set-up and continually amazed by the selection, whiskey facts and food for 2 hours. The tasting selections were paired with appetizers that complemented eachother, it was simply delish. Highly recommend hosting a whiskey & BBQ theme party here.

Our server (Aron) we was so sweet, kind, and had most pleasant disposition. Pretty good parking and love the rustic decor. But the star of the show is the food, it's is absolutely delicious. The Renerto tacos (pork), was the most scrumptious combination of flavors; smokey, savory, sweet, and that umami flavor from the relish is top tier. Best compliments to Jamal, the genius behind this dish. If you love amazingly flavored food, that is reasonably priced (especially now a days), paired with the most moth watering cocktails (levender lemonade); go to Linestone BBQ... If you like Mition BBQ then you will be blown away with Linestone BBQ

Awesome. We accidentally came here because google routed me the wrong direction from longwood gardens. Glad it turned out how it did. Super good food, and I am a bit of a bbq snob. Real, just excellent and the service was top notch. Thanks guys!

Limestone BBQ and Bourbon in Delaware delivers a solid dining experience with a few areas for improvement. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and efficient, making the visit highly enjoyable. The atmosphere was a highlight, with a fun and lively vibe boosted by upbeat live music, though it was a tad loud, occasionally hindering conversation.
The food was decent overall, with some standout moments. The brisket, while tender and of good quality, was a bit of a letdown. It lacked a smoke ring, and the underseasoned meat leaned too heavily on the sauce for flavor. In Texas, I’d rate the brisket a 3 for its lack of smokiness, but given we’re in Delaware, it’s passable. The saving grace was the mac and cheese, which was genuinely delicious—creamy, flavorful, and a crowd-pleaser.
Considering the great service, fun atmosphere, and standout sides like the mac and cheese, I’d rate the overall experience a 4 out of 5. Limestone BBQ and Bourbon is a strong contender in Delaware’s BBQ scene, but the brisket could use more seasoning and smoke to truly shine.

Service was so welcoming and attentive. The manager stopped by to say hello to everyone and even gave us a tour of a private room available for parties. So worth the drive from PA. We will be back !

The brisket and mac & cheese are great and super juicy. The only reason I can't give a five is that I also tried the ribs that were tough and way too dry. Now I've had both dry and touch ribs that weren't too bad before, but when I was offered a plastic knife and fork and with those, it nearly broke the knife to split the bones apart, it was clearly too tough. Anyone going, I do suggest the brisket and mac & cheese and my wife said the coleslaw is pretty good two, just avoid the ribs and you'll be satisfied.
