I had ordered from the catering menu the rice and peas and the pernil (roast pork). This was my fourth time ordering for a party. Absolutely love the food. The service is always great! Everything I’ve tried so far has been amazing.

My family and I make the trip from Maryland just to eat here, and every single time, it reminds us why we keep coming back. The Merengue House isn’t just a place to grab a meal — it’s a place that fills you with warmth, joy, and flavors that stay with you long after you leave.

We don’t have restaurants that bring this kind of authenticity, flavor, and cultural pride to our area. A location here would be embraced with open arms — there’s a real need and a community ready to support it.

No es solo un restaurante… es un pedazo de nuestra cultura, de nuestros sabores, de lo que extrañamos y no encontramos donde vivimos. El sushi aquí es algo que no habíamos probado en ningún otro lugar: fresco, creativo, lleno de alma y sabor verdadero. Cada roll es una obra de arte que nos sorprende más que el anterior. The food is absolutely delicious. The portions are large. We left here stuffed and the piña coladas are so good. Laura was a great server and made solid recommendations

Food was good but the service left a lot to be desired. Guess since they automatically add the gratuity they figure they don't have to put too much effort! Very sad!

Two of us went in only one if Us got food. My granddaughter order an appetizer and wings. I ordered mofongo and got nothing.

Rosie was a great server! Recommended awesome apps! Got the empanadas, la yola, & sliders. Everything was delicious! Ended with a guava &cheese empanada which was so good! Definitely coming back!
