I have been living in Wilmington for the past 6 months and Mimi Teriyaki has been my best option when it comes to price-quality. If you get there Chicken and Beef Teriyaki or Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki, you will not be disappointed since they always give you enough food for two meals and the chicken has always been tender. Personally, I don't believe this place gets enough business due to its location, but I encourage people to go for lunch during work hours or even dinner for take out. At first, the owner and employees are friendly, but if you become a regular they will recognize you and treat you with kindness along with amazing customer service. This place might not be the fancy spot you are looking to dine-in, but if you are looking for the best local takeout Asian food in Wilmington, Mimi Teriyaki will be your best friend. Lastly, no business is perfect and I wish people could be more understanding and flexible when it is extremely busy or they make a simple mistake.

Fast, inexpensive, great Chinese! And so much of it. The shrimp teriyaki is amazing and you can tell it is actually grilled & not just steamed. Very friendly

I ordered twice. The food didn't taste good. I ordered teriyaki salmon the first time and beef teriyaki the second. The beef was horrible because it's so dry and the fried rice that comes with it was so disgusting. They all bento boxes. I just wasted my money. I even convinced my coworker to order too. It turned out they didn't like their foods from this place either. Never again.
nice people. treat them nice when u come here. the chicken wings wereeee not as expected. when I came in some dude was arguing with the cashier about his order so off that vibe I thought it'd be a certain kinda wings but it wasn't that kinda wings

I got general Tao chicken. Two nights ago. The sauce had no spice and was horrible. The chicken I do not know how long they cooked It. But it was brown and tough the smaller pieces were also slightly crunchy and I'm talking about the chicken not the Breading around it.

Me & my guys come here for lunch break all the time. Nice man at the register always busy & the cook knows his stuff! I always get the chicken teriyaki, rice & lo mein. All that juice & sauce mix and its so darn good! 10/10 always
