I've been getting food here since I was a child and it has been amazing since then. Tiny, quaint, family owned. Owner is pleasant. The system they have in place for ordering food could use some refinement and the location is somewhat inconvenient, it also gets a little pricey for larger sizes and the portions could be a little bigger, but I would suffer through it every time because the food is sublime!

My God....when you've been eating at Minato since the late 80s, you truly appreciate the freshness as well as authentic tastes/flavors (even in the midst of skyrocketing prices and shrinking quantities). Hours have changed since the original owner passes away. Nonetheless I definitely try to grab some shrimp fried rice, crab rolls and tea when I'm in Delaware.

Minato's has been around in Wilmington for decades. They offer a Japanese style fried rice with veggies and your choice of protein. They've always offered their traditional menu. (If it ain't broke don't fix it!) They also have a special pineapple tea that is delicious. Get the large because you will want more if you don't. I have noticed that the prices have changes over the years but so has everything else. If it's what you want, the price isn't gonna make a difference. I'm glad the business is still there whenever I have a craving for their special menu!!

Been eating here since I was a kid in the 90s. As many others have said the prices have gone up quite a bit but I don’t blame the small business, these are hard times for sure. The food has remained the same delicious taste since I was a kid. Always fresh, love the veggies that they use too. Crab egg rolls and spicy beef egg rolls are a must (some people aren’t a fan because they are flat but the taste is great). And as always the pineapple iced T is one of the best beverages I’ve ever had. Wish I knew how they made it! All in all I try to go here every couple months or so. Very delicious meal.

Best rice in the city. But portions arent worth the prices. I've been going all of my life and today i spent $16.75 for a small shrimp and chicken fried rice a crab roll and a small tea. And i was still hungry. The small comes in small cheeseburger shell container for $12 which is deplorable in my opinion. But the food is amazing you just have to spend $30-$50 dollars if you dont want to be hungry.

Great good. Never disappointed in regards to the taste. Always delicious. The portions could be much better and the extras are high. Store has been around since I was teen in the 90s and probably before then. Family owned place. Pineapple tea is amazing!! FRIED RICE with spicy sauce and the shrimp rolls are my absolute favorites.Only took away stars because of the prices but other than that NO COMPLAINTS.

Got my usual crab rice, crab rolls and pineapple tea, disappointed that it always takes so long for my order to be made but at the same time it's worth the wait. They owners should consider owning a second store in Newark as well.

Tiny little place with a limited menu, but the food is very good. The fried rice tasted great and was not at all greasy. I recommend the beef rolls. They're a little spicy but delicious.

This place has been around since my mom was in her late 20's! I have always heard great things and then I finally got to go.... all was true. Amazing food and the best tea hands down! Service is amazing. Hand made and prepared, nothing frozen or fake. This place has passed hands from the grand parents, to the parents to the children. Yes you are going to pay more than McDonald's on 4th, but you are buying into a legacy!
