It’s very nice inside and the food was really good. The all you can eat is definitely worth it
This place has been on my radar to try for a while and we finally decided to check it out. First off, the sushi here is incredible. Super fresh and colorful with amazing presentations. We tried the all-you-can-eat deal and some options off the regular menu too. For AYCE sushi, this was the best I've had in the area. AYCE isn't limited to sushi and there's a bunch of dishes you can try as well. For us, service was great. We went on a slow day for lunch and the entire experience was fantastic. I see there's some negative reviews about service, but that wasn't the case for us.
Here's what we had:
Crispy
Hot, perfectly crispy, flavorful, large portion. Would definitely order again.
Crab
Creamy and indulgent with the perfect crunch. For my taste, they were a bit on the sweet side but I'm sure others would love that.
Shrimp & Vegetable
Light, crispy batter with fresh ingredients. Cool presentation.
Tuna Tartare Tower: 10/5 (yes, it's that good)
This was hands-down the highlight of the night. Layers of fresh tuna, creamy avocado, and three types of tobiko. It's a visual masterpiece and a flavor bomb in every bite.
Godzilla Roll, Norwegian Salmon Sashimi, & Yellowtail Jalapeño
Fresh, vibrant, spicy, and expertly prepared. The yellowtail had just the right kick of heat from the jalapeño, and the Godzilla Roll is simply addictive. The wild-caught salmon from Norway exceeded expectations.
Sweetheart
Yes, it's a tuna avocado roll shaped like hearts. Perfect for sharing especially if you're here for a date night.
Hibachi Combo (Maine Lobster Tail, Shrimp, and Scallops): 5/5
Huge Maine lobster tail. The seafood was cooked to perfection. Worth the price!
Banana & Oreo
I enjoyed fried Oreos more than I thought I would!
Pro Tip:
Try the all-you-can-eat menu. It's one of the best deals around for the quality of the sashimi, specialty rolls, and kitchen dishes that you can get.
Update: We've gone back a few times and it's still fantastic. Basically addicted to the Godzilla Roll. We also started picking up sushi for takeout and it's THE BEST around. We get the lunch specials and they're much bigger portions than what you get some of the other local sushi places for the same price. Plus you get soup or salad too.

I’ve dined here three times now, twice for all-you-can-eat and once from the regular menu. The AYCE is definitely worth it if you like trying a variety of rolls and dishes, but the regular menu has some excellent options too. We also tried takeout based on other reviewers’ recommendations and I can confirm it is the best in the area for sushi lunch specials. The portions are huge. This is our only sushi spot locally now.

I've been to most of the sushi spots along Concord pike and this is hands down my favorite for both takeout and all you can eat. They always have the freshest fish, and while talking with the owner he told me that he buys the highest quality possible. If you love salmon, you'll totally be able to taste the difference. It's super buttery here compared to other places I've had it.
I find the size of the rolls at No 1 are always generous and I love doing takeout here. But if you have time to eat in, the AYCE menu is definitely worth it (tip: it's cheaper earlier in the week). Especially if you like trying new rolls or dishes
For app I love the calamari and gyoza and The Godzilla and Alligator roll are some of my favorites - but there's lots to choose from. For me AYCE is such great value if you like to sample different things. They also have poke, hibachi, teriyaki, noodles and ramen on the regular menu too. The Tonkotsu Ramen was really tasty and their No1 Spicy Seafood Ramen is next on my list to try.
Inside, the restaurant itself is really nice. Sleek and modern and clean with both a nice sushi and full bar. If you love sushi and you're in the area definitely give this spot a try.

It was our first time today at this No.1 Sushi. We decided to get the All You Can Eat, so we get to try a bit of different varieties. Food was so good. Sashimi was so fresh. Server was so attentive. Definitely will be back.

Pay close attention to your bill. They charged me a higher price ($17) for the lunch special than was on the menu ($15). It wasn't worth $15.
Also, no apology, they just blamed it on the server being new, as if servers are responsible for updating menus.
I was the only customer the whole time I was there, so I guess I understand why they felt the need to increase the price again (it was $13 about a year ago). But I'm left feeling like a sucker for going there.
What did I get for my $17? Maybe 3 ounces of fried pork, 3 pieces of a california roll, 3 small dumplings, a small bowl of rice, a single broccoli floret, and some iceberg lettuce with a sloppy ginger dressing on it. I am such a fool.

Everything was great. The food was so fresh and service quick. The pieces of sashimi was so fresh, big and delicious. The best thing was the 3 fish wrapped in cucumber and white tuna sashimi.

The food was amazing. it literally had me dancing in my seat, and the hot sake was very good. And not to mention, I absolutely appreciate the waitress who noticed that I was struggling to read the menu due to my vision and handed me a paper menu that made it so much easier to see the smaller print so I can see what's in a roll. The staff are very nice , the restaurant is very clean. Definitely will be returning.

I’ve been here a total of four times. The first second and third time was good. The fourth time is with my family. they took so long with the food. I went with the all you can eat and was so excited to share it with my family. None of the appetizers came out besides the salads. Everything is small plate so if the food don’t come out we’re just sitting around waiting. Got one set of sushi after a long wait. Asked when the soups are out and they said they’re out of broth. When the soups finally come out they were not edible. Like sink water that’s lukewarm. We didn’t even touch it. Then two tiny small plates of udon came out. It’s $33 per person. $165 for $60 worth of food. So disappointing because I’ve been sending so many people here. Still sitting around for our green tea ice cream. Been ten minutes. Don’t waste your time or money here. I had high hopes for this place. So disappointing.
