This apartment building is huge & they have no scheduled cockroach spraying. I’ve seen many cockroaches and they spray in a timely manner when you report, but the roaches just keep coming back because there are so many residents. I don’t know why they wouldnt come and spray monthly for preventative measures. You must take into account that the rent is so much higher than the rest of trolley square as well.
First night here hasn’t gone great. Came from out of state so my family and I are new to Wilmington. Got in after dark, There was no street parking within 10-15 of walking, I recalled the office staff said the parking lot was full so couldn’t park there, so I took my wife and newborn and parked in the 30 minute parking. I didn’t pay enough attention to the clock and got my car towed with stuff inside, my bad. Great way to welcome new residents!
Took me a while to write a review. I lived here for one year. Yes it is a bit on the pricer side. If you can afford it, the location is great! Surrounded by pretty streets. Everything is walking distance (Restaurants, groceries, cvs, liquor stores, parks). I had a great view from my window. I was glad that they had parking as I am terrible at parallel parking. They had the nicest people at building management. Any issues I had were taken care of very quickly. The reason I left was because I was relocating to a different city. I got my full security deposit back ?
Had one of the most disappointing experiences with the management!!! They are very disorganized.Pros: Location and view from my apartment was good. I really enjoyed the area, trolley square is good and everything is accessible at a walking distance.Cons: 1. It’s an old building with old AC units. There was no way to control the temperature in my unit.2. Don’t fall for their sweet words. After I left the apartment it took me a lot of calls and emails just to get hold of Megan. The attitude and behavior of the management changed immediately as soon as I left the apartment.3. Make sure you have copies and documents of everything with their signature if you want anything done. So many issues with getting the deposit issue resolved. They claimed they never got my move out form when I placed it in the hands of one of the employees in the office.4. They kept changing the reason for withholding my deposit every time I gave them a clarification.5. And even better, mice in my unit. Saw one running in the corridor as well and I lived on the 15th floor.
I lived here for 2 years with one roommate. This is an old janky building trying to disguise itself as a modern building. Everything is a little crooked and poorly placed (light switches, cabinet doors, etc). Our ceiling leaked from AC units above us 3 different times. Maintenance seemed to do a quick patch/paint job overtop that never worked each time. I am also EXTREMELY disappointed with management. When we moved out this past May, we gave sufficient notice and did everything we were supposed to do. My roommate and I checked in with the leasing office separate times to make sure we were squared away with payments and the checking out process. The staff at the leasing office was friendly but clueless. They would redirect us to Megan who originally sat down with my roommate and went through our accounts and said we were good to go. Fast forward a month later, I get our security deposit back and see that they deducted money from our check. It took multiple emails and calls to even get back to Megan. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and Megan came off very avoidant and disorganized. I would not recommend anyone to live here.
Comfortable living with amazing management!! The units are well kept and have new appliances. Mine was very spacious for a 1 bedroom. And the location is great in a friendly neighborhood near parks and Trolley Square.Parq management helped me with everything I needed. Megan was amazing - she knows residents by name and personally helped me resolve issues very fast. Jazzmine and Jesse were similarly responsive and helpful with anything I needed. Maintenance is also done very fast, sometimes they'd come within an hour of my request!I cannot recommend Parq at the Square enough. The location, the units, and the management are all amazing. From what I've seen they're the best apartments in Wilmington on all fronts.
My fiancé and I are looking to move into one of the units in this building. Jasmine Winslow helped us out with the application and everything, but in the end they said we were denied because my credit score didn’t meet the requirements and my credit score is over 700, they also said I didn’t meet the income requirement which is 3x the rent, I met that requirements with $900 to spare. We have no criminal records or convictions, were able to pay first & last months rent on top of security deposit. they didnt not want to lease the apartment to us because they didn’t want some out of state residents moving in. Even jasmine confirmed that we were the first ones to apply to the apartment and that it was reserved to us. They just wanted the money that came with applying, jasmine said that my credit score and income were perfectly fine before they officially denied us. They just want the $50, do not lease from here.
I lived here for two years and moved out on 9/30/2020. Two good things: Location and neighborhoods are really nice. Maintenance requests are usually resolved in one day. However, after I moved out, they withheld $150 smoke odor treatment and $75 cleaning fee from my security deposit. The $75 cleaning fee is whatever but the $150 smoke odor really pisses me off because I DO NOT smoke at all. After I explained they still insist on charge me for it saying there are ash and dust. Yeah now that I moved out, they can say anything they want. Absolutely nonsense. If you are moving out make sure you take tons of pictures so they blame you for something they make up.
As they say, first impressions are lasting ones. From my initial contact with Amanda (amazing) in the leasing office to our move-in, Parq staff did not disappoint. In fact, we've lived here for over a month and they continue to impress us. Megan (manager), Amanda, Alissa, and Mark are all incredibly welcoming and helpful. The office is open 7 days a week and they always go above and beyond to answer any questions and ensure our Parq living experience is top-notch. The same can be said about the maintenance staff. They are fantastic We haven't had many issues, but whenever we have, they are resolved quickly via an online work order request through their resident portal. We receive text updates and often have a chance to speak with them personally. A giant shout-out to Louie (supervisor), Jack, Jacob, and Riley. The ac/heating system is a tad antiquated, but everything works. In fact, all utilities except cable are included in the monthly rent. There have also been lots of updates, including a new stove, oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. Bathroom showers have been re-done and there is an overall modern feel. We are former homeowners and have been thrilled with our new digs at Parq. Highly recommend.
I have been living here for one year and I gotta say it is pretty amazing. The leasing staff is super responsive and friendly and have gone over the top in helping me with things that I would not have expected. The rooms are renovated and have temperature control which is amazing for winter and summer, I have not been uncomfortable yet. And to have all utilities included is just one less headache to worry about. And I have not experienced any power/water issues like previously mentioned. I honestly don't believe there is anywhere else in area that is a better value.

By far one of the best run apartment complexes in this area. Very well kept, easy going management, SAFE, moderately priced, clean, maintenance is great...not much I can say that went south. This complex/management here is phenomenal. Only downfall is the whole thing with dogs but that had gotten cleared up. Residents used to just let their dogs defecate outside the premises and not clean up.
Great place to live. Quiet & Clean, close to Trolley Square. Staff is super responsive! Great Customer Service!!
I honestly can not say a single good thing about this place. From them not responding to problems to their dirty buildings. The new guy, Chase, who works in the office comes across as very sweet at first but is actually a dishonest disaster. If asked any official/policy driven questions, he becomes extremely defensive and demonstrates a total lack of key knowledge-based policy or procedural information. My home is my largest expense and they treated it like it meant nothing to them. Do not waste your money or your time on such a poor service.
The staff here are very friendly. The location is especially nice, being close by a cute neighborhood and Brandywine Park. The view in the apartment is awesome. When I first visited, the staff gave me a tour of the place, I think his name was Mark? He was very nice and showed me the details of the house I had not previously thought of. He also explained the whole leasing process to me very thoroughly, as it is my first time going through it on my own. Thank you Mark for a wonderful tour! Overall I would definitely recommend. Go check it out and see for yourself! You will not be disappointed.
I only have good things to say about Parq! The apartments are updated and modern, I've had no issues so far. The management team is great, always friendly and responsive. Maintenance requests are responded to promptly and can be submitted on an app from your phone. Really impressed.
