Plum Pit Food Truck

Just ordered food from their truck at a new castle event. HOLY was it good! That might be the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had in my LIFE.

Wow, totally blown away by the food and the freindlyness of the staff. Had a rice bowl, the surf and turf sandwich, and the Mac and Cheese. All were excellent. The smoke on the chicken was subtle and excellent. The jerk seasoning was spicy but not overpowering. And the Mac and Chesse? Creamy and perfect! Can't wait for them to come around again. 😋

Food was jumpin!!!

Brisket was chewy with a lot of fat , green beans had no flavor and some were barely cooked wit others that were overcooked in water . Kraft macaroni and cheese is better than this stuff . And the baked beans was more like baked beans soup .

Angie and her team was as professional as it gets. We held an event in New Jersey and reached out to Plum Pit very last minute to schedule something. They came out and provided incredible service and their food was top notch. Everyone had the most positive reviews of the food (especially the Surf and Turf). Thank you to everyone on the Plum Pit team and Angie specifically for making this event such a hit.

SUPERIOR FOOD?????????

Waited an hour outside in the heat for a rice and pulled pork dish at Tyler Arboretum. When I asked for utensils I was told they ran out. No apology. No suggestions. Server literally turned away and moved on to next order. Pulled pork was tender but lacked any distinguishing flavor profile. I would have forgiven the whole thing if there had been any communication about the shortage or an apology. Sadly, I got neither.

The Plum Pit Food Truck was PHENOMENAL! We had them cater our wedding and all our guests raved about the food.Menu provided lots of options and all the food was delicious.Would highly recommend for any event you're holding :)

Their mac & cheese is delicious. And, their churros are tasty and sweet. The food is almost as delicious and sweet as the ladies who run the truck.I’m a fan.

I hosted a Food Truck event last year. The Plum Pit food was delicious, no doubt. However, the two young people who were serving the food were not very professional. They took time to eat food from other vendors and opened their truck to customers 25 minutes later. It was a non-smoking area and they took a smoke break on the property. Furthermore, they closed up 25 minutes before the end of the event. I decided to give them another try. I sent several emails and called more than once to try to obtain a copy of their license. It was never received. Emails were never answered. Four work days prior to the event, they canceled. A reason was not given to me. Although their food is excellent, dealing with them as the event planner, left a lot to be desired!

Plum pit has come to our work multiple times and everytime has been a treat and pleasure!I have had many of their sandwiches. Today I got 3 cheesesteak empanadas.A few weeks ago I got the Surf n Turf - amazing.Will be back again.Would reccomend to a friend!
