Daily Veg - Pike Creek

Very nice vegan restaurant. I highly recommend the Chik'n sandwich(es) and their fries. The shakes are also excellent--I can't even think of another place that does vegan shakes around here. the staff is pretty helpful and have great customer-service skills. My only gripe about the Daily veg is the pricing. I know that vegan alternatives are quite expensive, but the food here is priced in such a way that you'd think it was a mid-scale sit-down style restaurant. I have to wonder what the markup is for these food items. The food is good enough for me to come back despite the wild price tag, but I can only go every-so-often because of this. I do highly recommend giving it a try though.

The food here is absolutely delicious, I’m not even vegan & the burgers were top notch. The owner also happened to be trying out a new pizza recipe and asked us to taste test (it was excellent). He took the time to chat with us & talk about his experience with the restaurant/relationship to food/community/etc. He even found out we were celebrating birthdays & very kindly gave us free cake. Everyone was so warm & the food was awesome. We’ll be back!

Also, try the sweet potato tots.

This is place is delish - whether you're vegan or not! The burgers, sweet potato tots and desserts - so yum. Probably 1 of the best places to eat in DE. Relaxed atmosphere, fab staff - bring a friend, enjoy.

As a vegan in this area, it can be difficult to find things to eat out and given that my food choice is a result of allergies, I like that I never have to worry about accidentally getting hives or sick from something on the menu because it's 100% vegan. The staff are always very friendly and eager to serve. It's a cute place but can be a little cold eating in during the winter months because the front door doesn't close very quickly 😅

My spicy chicken sandwich was amazing. I came in during lunch hours to try something new and came across the spicy chicken sandwich and it was amazing, definitely recommend it. And the staff are super friendly too. Loved it!

One of the best gluten-free buns/sandwiches I’ve ever had! I try to eat plant-based whenever I can, and Daily Veg truly makes healthy food taste amazing. The sweet potato tots were cooked perfectly, the desserts are fantastic, and the smoothies are delicious. My burger honestly reminded me of my favorite fast-food burger from before I found out I was gluten intolerant. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you should. I’d eat lunch here every day if I lived closer!

Wonderful lunch here. Had the chicken wrap. Ideal for folks who want vegan versions of fast food. Most options use Impossible or Beyond products them, but not all. Owner/manager and staff super friendly.

I genuinely love this place. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like from here. If I had to recommend anything, it would be the Mushroom Bacun Swiss Burger. So good!!!

I loved the diversity of the comfort food options and the flavors of the sauces and the seasonings. If you get that vegan craving for fast food, then this is the place for you. Great for takeout. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-08
