Missed breakfast, but wowed by dinner service and Sam's hospitality! Our stay at The Westin in Delaware started with a slight misstep - we arrived just after the 10 am breakfast cutoff. Disappointed but ready for dinner (starting at 5 pm), we waited eagerly for the doors to open.Upon entering, we were promptly seated and warmly welcomed by Ariana and our server, Sam. Their attentiveness and friendliness immediately impressed us. When I mentioned the lack of a microwave in the room and my desire for the roasted chicken, Sam surprised me by offering to have maintenance bring one! This blew me away, and I happily accepted her offer. My husband, Dr. Angel, opted for the cheeseburger. Both portions were generous, and we couldn't finish them all.The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious in-room breakfast. This Thanksgiving getaway was the perfect blend of relaxation, planning for future business ventures, and indulging in delicious food. While our room and the hotel was very dated, the staff, particularly Sam, were exceptional and made our stay truly memorable. We will definitely be returning to The Westin in the future!

Food is very good here at the Westin. Several selections available on the dinner menu. Been here for awhile do to training, and have tried most items. Steak is great, along with the Salmon, seafood Mac/cheese, and roasted chicken. Prices are very fair with larger food portions. Breakfast is a must as well. Again, large portions, and great prices as well.

Had another chance to dine at River Rock Kitchen inside the Westin in Wilmington, DE, and it's definitely a place of contrasts. It's got its highlights, but there are a few things they could brush up on.Let's start with the good stuff. Sam, our server, was fantastic. She's got this way of making you feel right at home, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. It's service like hers that can really make a meal memorable. The chicken I had tonight was pretty impressive, too. Cooked just right, flavorful, and hit the spot perfectly. The drinks were another win – mixed well and complemented the meal nicely. But it wasn't all smooth sailing. I ordered a burger last night, asked for it medium, but it came out more on the well-done and slightly charred side. It's those little details in cooking that can make a big difference. The menu could do with a bit of a shake-up, too. It's a bit on the narrow side for my liking. They could really benefit from adding a filet or something similar for steak lovers. It would round out their offerings nicely. And, the cheesecake... well, it wasn't quite up to par. It gave off that store-bought or maybe thawed vibe, which you don't really expect in a place like this. Homemade desserts would be a game-changer for their menu.I'm in Wilmington quite a bit, a few weeks each year, so I'm really invested in places like River Rock Kitchen. They've got some solid groundwork, but with a few tweaks, they could really elevate their game. Fingers crossed they take this to heart – a place with this much potential deserves to shine.

I haven't been here since just before the pandemic, but it continues to be great! The service is excellent, and the food and drinks are top quality! My pork was a little over-cooked, but other than that, everything was delicious!Parking: The restaurant is connected to a hotel and bar a business park, so there is plenty of parking.

All was good however it was extremely cold due to the door. I would recommend on cooler days Customers are asked to enter via hotel to avoid guest needing to wear coats while eating.
Had my birthday breakfast with my aunts here and it was a great experience . Our sever Amanda was a ball of sunshine! She was professional, fun and so personable. The omelets my aunts ordered were delicious, great portions and potatoes were perfectly cook. My acai bowl was tasty and the perfect amount ! Thank you all for a great experience.

This is a great place for a good plate! The food is cooked fresh. Tried the mushroom soup and it was superb. The crispy shrimp appetizer was also great with ample portion and seasoned perfectly. My salmon entrée was good but absent of the citrus cream sauce and a little heavy on the salt as was the saffron rice and sautéed spinach. The chocolate cake was divine! Our server, Cindy, was friendly and helpful!

My family and I met here for Mother's Day since I live in DC and my family lives in Philadelphia. My family enjoyed the food. I was greeted by Amy, the manager, upon entry. Danita, our server, was very attentive and kind. Both ladies made sure the cupcakes I brought for my family were served to them on separate plates with strawberries.
