The service was terrible and extremely unfriendly. We felt like a burden to the servers. The food was fine but we will definitely not be back.

There's nothing unique about the food or the atmosphere. I expected a more chicken forward menu. There was no chicken entree, and the only chicken sandwich was spicy with pimento cheese. It felt like a regular tavern/pub with fancy cocktails. Probably won't return.

service was pretty inattentive. we had many empty drinks and waited a while. woulda spent more on alcohol if they came by more often. also if your going to have live music make it acoustic. i want to be able to talk at dinner

Roost is the new kid on the block on Market St. in Wilmington but it's growing up fast. We had 5 people on a very busy Saturday night before a show at the Grand Opera House. There were several large tables and the kitchen was definitely stressed. The wait staff amd runners really shown through though and made sure drinks were refilled, etc. The food was excellent ,especially the short rib grilled cheese. Lots to choose from on the draft list and a very inventive cocktail menu are also highlights. Looking forward to going back soon

Roost is an excellent example that you can still have a fun environment, knowledgeable wait staff and delicious, inventive food all wrapped in one. Bravo!

Great food and service. Everything we got at the table was great and every worker we interacted with was super nice! Definitely will be back!

The food, drinks, service, and portion sizes were all great! Highly recommend and will be coming back!

Opentable Diner

Delicious food. Fun and hip ambience. College basketball on beautiful TVs. Our server was inattentive and made a few mistakes.

We had a very good dinner. The food was great (all four entre choices were terrific and portions were large). The salads were exceptional. The service was also great (our server Jason was awesome). We have nothing but good things to say about Roost.

Dinner and service were very good. Unfortunately, for seniors in their 70s, the noise level made it almost impossible to carry on a conversation.

The food was excellent and we didn't have to wait too long for it. The noise level was higher than I expected, given the place was not crowded. For the price it was a good meal.

First time experience, se we were interested in trying out a variety of items. Loved my cocktail: (which is not on online menu— but gin based with blackberry and prosecco as I recall. Pieroggis and cheesesteak bao buns were delicious. Cuban sandwich is definitely a winner. I enjoyed my salmon entree, but it was not as good as that sandwich! Sweet potato fries could easily go on dessert menu, since I found them decadent (stealing a few from one of my companions). Chocolate cobbler is huge and rich. Probably enough for four people (though my husband ate all of his).

Great bar food cranked up a notch ! Drinks are great and prices are very fair. Service is very excellent, which is a pleasant surprise in a pub ! Highly recommend !!

Loved the flatbread. Good location for getting to concerts and theatre. A lot of noise coming from the bar to our corner table - definitely not a place to go if you want to have a quiet dinner.

Delicious food, excellent service, and nice decor. The vibe is like an upscale sports bar with plenty of small plate share options. We went for the dinners and all of the meals and the Ceasar were very good. The ambiance score is subjective as I'm not a fan of large screen tv's and big open spaces that. An be quite loud, which is why my score on ambiance was low. Fortunately the large table of sports fans left as our order arrived so we could have a nice conversation.
