service was pretty inattentive. we had many empty drinks and waited a while. woulda spent more on alcohol if they came by more often. also if your going to have live music make it acoustic. i want to be able to talk at dinner
Roost is the new kid on the block on Market St. in Wilmington but it's growing up fast. We had 5 people on a very busy Saturday night before a show at the Grand Opera House. There were several large tables and the kitchen was definitely stressed. The wait staff amd runners really shown through though and made sure drinks were refilled,etc. The food was excellent ,especially the short rib grilled cheese. Lots to choose from on the draft list and a very inventive cocktail menu...
We had a very good dinner. The food was great (all four entre choices were terrific and portions were large). The salads were exceptional. The service was also great (our server Jason was awesome). We have nothing but good things to say about Roost.
