I hate to leave a bad review, but! I had brisket, pulled pork and chicken with Mac and cheese and greens for lunch from Russel’s today. It was terrible to say the least. The chicken was dry and burnt, brisket was over cooked and the greens could have used vinegar and salt added. The Mac and cheese tasted like boxed Mac and cheese. Oh and I forgot to mention that every single thing tasted like lighter fluid. I’ll never be eating here again.

Russell is one of the kindest guys I have ever met and boy does he make some killer food!! Must stop, 10000%!!!

Greens was unseasoned, ribs was tender the sauce sucks sweet potato from a can prices are good you pay for what you get I don't recommend 2nd chance the ribs were burned even my dog won't eat them don't waste your money!!!!!!!!

this is the best god damn chicken I’ve ever had in my life, got the jerk chicken with sweet potato and I’m tempted to come here everyday from now on. The customer service was a 10/10 too such a good and funny guy

The customer, the taste & amount , the prices, *chefs kiss* It was my first time here, definitely won’t be my last, I have to drop in on Brisket days & MacnCheese days. The food was so good I definitely may try again next week! Lol

*Oh I had Fried fish, BBQ ribs, Yams, Greens.

Pulled pork wasnt bbq. No smoke taste and looked like it was bake in the oven. Terrible and waste of money. His smoker wasnt even on which should have gave me a warning

Omg just had there pulled pork and it was amazing 🤩. I wanted to have the brisket but I didn’t read the sign ( every other Friday 😜). Never had collard greens before and it’s now my next best side. Their hot sauce had some heat but it didn’t burn which I enjoyed. All in all 5 star experience for a food truck. Super friendly.

What can I say about Russell's. AMAZING!! I got a chance to talk to the owner. We talked about BBQ. He showed me his smokers he uses. The man has been in business for 18 years. I can see why. Everything is homemade. He is at his food trailer at 3am get the fires for this smokers ready. Very thing he makes you can smell, and oh hell, yeah, taste his heart and soul that he puts into everything. The scent of BBQ in my pickup truck on the way back to my hotel was killing me.

I had pulled pork, pork ribs with a side of collard greens, and sweet potatoes. Russell told me that the sweet potatoes will remind me of a sweet potato pie. The man wasn't wrong. They were awesome. So were the collard greens. The whole meal was fantastic!!

During him and I talking trading stories. He told me that he also feeds the homeless. What does that tell you about a man that puts his heart and soul into his food.

18 years in business. Let that sink in. A good-sized food trailer makes amazing food.

If you have never been to Russell's Quality Foods. Shame on you. You need to go. As for me. Well I ship off back to the Midwest. I guarantee I am making my way back there one more time.
