I've always loved dining at this place. I've been coming here for years and have even celebrated a few special occasions here. During my last visit a week ago, the service my group of 3 received was disappointing. It's almost as if we were being ignored on purpose. I still love the food but the waitress definitely ruined the experience. I brought 2 friends who haven't been there before so we'll see if we come back.

Definitely not coming back. The food is average, not bad, not surprising. The waitress with bang and brown hair is extremely rude. They got our order wrong at the beginning, she started giving a shitty face, question us: aren’t those what you got? After they got us right thing, I had a question about where the soft shell crab in Samuri roll, she refused to answer, rolled her eyes and turned around. If you are having a bad day, just take a break, don’t bring your attitude to the work.

Very pretty place on the inside, but the service we received was not so beautiful. The server we had did not once smile nor greet us, and I can count on one hand the amount of words she said. Maybe she was just having a bad day. The sushi itself was okay but there are definitely better places in the area.

My family went to dinner there, and some of us were starving. We got a table, then sat down and ordered. The service was slow. The tuna was old, and the salmon was not fresh. Same thing goes with the other few dishes we got. Overall, the service needs improvement and the foods need to be more fresh.

The older guy waitress here was absolutely rude the entire time and seemed like he didn’t even care, ruined our experience which sucks because we used to come here often.

So very disappointed in this location. I have been a faithful customer for years going at least once a week. I arrived tonight with a party of 7. Staff said we had to wait for the rest of our party to be seated. No problem (even though I’ve seen may people be seated without their entire party in the past). I thought that while we waited I could get a drink at the bar. Staff said I couldn’t buy a drink and proceeded to argue with me. It saddens me to know that a place I have enjoyed in the past has disrespected me so badly. The way we were treated outweighs the quality of the food.

Unfortunately I will NEVER come back here. The food was great, but the service was TERRIBLE! Our waitress was very rude and then watched us eat, to make sure that my daughter didn't have any food off of my plate. I ordered from the dinner menu, and she ordered from the lunch menu. She had 2 pieces of my shrimp. A guy came to our table and started an argument stating that she couldn't eat my shrimp because she wasn't getting charged for the dinner menu! I thought that it was absurd! I've been there many times, but today will be my last!

If you are hungry and crave sushi, this is the place to be, an AYCE Japanese buffet for a reasonable price. In fact, it is a bargain if you have a big appetite. Of course you are not getting Michelin quality sushi from this place, but the quality is fine for the average person. They have lots of customers and this helps to keep their food fresh.

We started going to this place when it was $13.95 per person. Food prices have gone way up and so is this place. I still think that it is reasonable for a sushi buffet.

2 to 3 years ago, Sakura was legit one of the better AYCE spots in the Tri-State area.

Whether it was food from the sushi bar, kitchen, or even the dessert which is only available during dinner.

However, on my most recent trip a year ago, the quality had fallen off. I don't know if something was off that day, but considering the distance I had to travel to get here, I wasn't willing to take my chance again.

They have a good selection of items from both the sushi bar and the kitchen.

No matter what, you need to try their chicken skewers. Absolutely delicious.

Hope they get their quality back.

Their service is on the friendlier side compared to other AYCE locations.

Overall, you can get a tasty meal here at Sakura if it's the Sakura I remember. And being located in Delaware, no taxes on your bill!

My biggest gripe with Sakura is limiting each customer with 50 pieces of Sashimi. An AYCE should be AYCE without such restrictions.

And in my many trips here, despite there being a limit on sashimi, they never give you what your order.

For example, I order 20 pieces of yellowtail sashimi, but I only get 5. The sushi bar needs to be more accurate with their orders.

The service was good. The Shrimp Tempura and the Avocado salad were good. The sushi didn't hold together well, despite the cream cheese. Too many unnecessary fillers in the sushi. I would not order the Spider Roll again. I did not like the shredded artificial crab. The saki tasted okay, but was weak. The wasabi was very good.
