Absolutely amazing espresso based beverages. Their espresso is able to stand out and plays nicely with either dairy or non-dairy based drinks. Expertly crafted, properly aerated, I was honestly blown away with how magical their drinks are. The food is also fantastic. This spot has been on my mind since I went there. I just want to grab another latte, a good sandwich, and chill in the patio area all day.
Also to note, I went during a rather busy time. The staff kept their cool, and were able to patiently handle any issues that came up (in this insance it was the other customer's blunder) and they came to a great agreeable solution.

We love Scout Café! My husband won’t skip a morning without his Hummu-licious Toast and latte, and I keep coming back for the Deli Turkey sandwich and Avo Toast (always with an extra egg). Drinks are amazing — I switch between the cold brew and the maple-spiced Lumberjack.
Great food, super friendly staff, and a cozy back seating area that’s perfect to hang out or work a bit. Always a happy stop when we’re in Wilmington!

Cozy coffee shop with lots of natural lighting and awesome food and drinks. It's natural tones, plants, and rustic vibe are always relaxing whether you are solo or meeting a friend. There's also outdoor seating on the side. The baristas and chef are sweet and friendly. They always go the extra mile! This hidden gem is my favorite spot by far.

Coffee is great but the food takes way too long and they got my order wrong and I didn’t realize until I got home. I ordered an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and they gave me an untoasted plain bagel. Very disappointing. Also I’ve gone 1 hour after opening before and they are out of most flavors of bagels way too quickly.

Great food and delicious coffee. Staff is helpful and friendly. Trust the deli turkey sandwich and a latte and both were excellent. Would definitely come again!

I live in Central Maryland but occasionally do work around the Philly area, stopping by Scout on my way home. It's a cute cafe in a quiet neighborhood. Friendly and knowledgable baristas. Great place to catch up on some work. I was honestly surprised that such a gem exists in Delaware ;)

Came in for the first time during the coffee crawl. I loved the ginger chai latte. It’s delicious. Came by a few days later and the experience was amazing. When I ordered the croissant, I didn’t know it had a filing. In case you order it beware it has a sugar filling in it.

My daughter swears this is her fave cafe in the area so I felt compelled to stop in for lunch on a rare day I had time to during the week. The neighborhood seemed charming but the store itself was the star. Warm and welcoming inside (it was actually nice and cool on a steamy hot day!) the staff greeted me right away! I had a cold brew and the deli turkey sammy. Cold brew was nice and flavorful, the ciabatta was so fresh and crisp and the sandwich in whole did not disappoint with delicious ingredients! I sat in their peaceful patio and took in the ambience. What a great little cafe! Can't wait to head back for more menu features and especially coffee drinks!

Scout Café is an absolute treasure—thoughtfully curated, beautifully executed, and effortlessly cool. From the moment you step in, you can feel the intention behind every detail. The interior is stylish yet inviting, with a laid-back atmosphere that makes it just as perfect for catching up with a friend as it is for a solo coffee-and-laptop session.
The menu is refreshingly creative, full of fresh, vibrant flavors that go far beyond your standard café fare. Whether it’s a perfectly balanced toast, a seasonal salad, or one of their signature breakfast sandwiches, everything is plated with care and absolutely delicious. And the coffee? Smooth, rich, and consistently well-crafted—clearly a team that knows their beans.
But it’s more than just the food and coffee—Scout has soul. The staff is warm, genuine, and always on point. You can tell this is a place that values community and experience just as much as quality. It’s one of those rare spots that feels both elevated and accessible, where every visit feels like a treat.
Scout Café is one of the best in the region—an inspiring space that truly delivers.

Great food
Very small place so get there early on a weekend…
This was our first time hear, and I was pleasantly surprised of how good the pastries were. We gad the plain croissant and the 4 cheese croissant which was wonderfully. My sister had the Raspberry bars she loved them as well as the Baklava. The coffee was delicious and $2 for a 12oz cup. We also got ge 12oz citrus mint ice tea the cost $3 and it was so refreshing on this warm day
