We loved the decor, and the drinks were good. The area seems to be developing nicely and the park across the street was nice to enjoy the fall morning. We will be back!

This is a cafe serving all day breakfast as well as lunch options. We came in around noon and ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. They were out of bagels so it was served on sourdough toast which was disappointing but fine. However, the toast was dry rather than being buttered, the egg is a frozen reheated wet sponge rather than a fresh egg, and even though we dined in - everything is served in a to-go container rather than a plate, there is not even salt and pepper available without having to open a plastic utensil pack. If I wanted a Wawa experience, I’d go to Wawa and pay $3 for a breakfast sandwich, but if I’m paying $8.50 for a BEC, I do expect more than a reheated frozen egg on dry bread served in paper bag. Sorry we won’t be back.

Best coffee shop in northern Delaware! Sleeping bird is outstanding in service with the nicest workers that truly care about your experience. They appreciate you as a regular and make you feel at home.
The coffee is 10/10. Their natural homemade flavors combined with their espresso make a delicious creamy and toasty latte (iced and hot). I recommend cookie butter!
The atmosphere is great! People are kind all around. The outside seating area across the coffee shop is great for having your pets, relaxing or working on your art sketches!

Loved that they accommodated a lunch item at 10:30, thank you! I got the Chickadee sandwich, delicious and so fresh. Service was quick and everyone was pleasant, including the patrons. Chill spot with many options and I enjoyed the late morning sun at the outdoor seating area.

Best coffee shop in the area. Iced americano every time. Maple biscuits are unassuming but one of the best foods I’ve ever tasted. Line gets long but the service is kind and quick. Bagel sandwiches, cinnamon buns and scones are also my go tos. I visit a lot !!

The worst customer service! My first time there and the cashier was so rude. I was rushed to order, and I could barely see the menu. The food is amazing. I’m traveling with my husband and we love to find coffee places, we thought this was cool. Disappointed.
