I’m super picky when it comes to Soul Food and have tried several restaurants in the area but was very disappointed. I went to Sowl Food yesterday and I have found my new spot. I got the whitting platter with sweet potato fluff and potato salad. I haven’t had fluff since 1997 when my Nana died and it was as good as her and the potato salad was perfect. I will definitely be back!!!

This soul food spot (sowl) is DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was looking for a spot in Wilmington the other day, and came across this gem on Maryland ave. I got the wings, cabbage, candied yams, cornbread, Mac and cheese, and strawberry lemonade. Mmmmmm... mmmmm... mmmmmmmmm????? Sooooooo good!!! The food tasted like a home cooked meal man. Sheesh!! The lemonade had me staring at the bottle every time I took a swallow....amazing!! 10 stars!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hands down the whiting was the best Ive ever had period! The light batter and flakiness of the fish had me doing handstands on the inside. Not to mention great customer service. If this first experience is an indication you have a loyal customer.

The food was amazing! I went for the first time and I must say everything I ordered was amazing! Also, what made it better was I looked in the window and watched the staff and they really cook with their soul. They were working so hard! I would definitely be returning. I would recommend ordering before you arrive because it is just a window to go spot. ButOverall amazing give it a try!

New spot for me and my folks!!! Great food.. a little slow but its worth the wait.
Food was fresh, good. The wait was not long. Prices very reasonable. The set-up is call grab and go which I liked a lot .The young man taking the orders and working the register he was on it. The cook push them good dinners out. Another young lady was taking orders. Definitely team work. positive vibes. The best restaurant in Wilm
