Well, It's a Starbucks!!! The service here has always been great when I come in, BUT... The atmosphere is Horrible. definitely the worst I've seen anywhere in the Delaware or tristate area. The lighting is horrendous with the lowest most uncomfortable chairs. This isn't an enjoyable location to chill with friends or get work done. I'm sure this company can do better.

Visited the store today and ordered 2 drinks and an everything bagel with cream cheese NOT toasted for my child, drinks came up okay and waited 15 mins for a bagel that never came. I asked an employee who was making coffee with pin straight light brown hair if she could check on our bagel since we were waiting and nobody else was around and she said “I’m not on food so you have to wait for whoever is” and then we waited longer and finally asked for a manager or help and a spanish woman who said she was the manager came out and I explained the problem and as I was telling her a male employee dropped a bagel on the counter that was toasted and the wrong order and they refused to remake it and shrugged and walked away. A Maroon haired woman who was working there was also laughing at us.

The store is also dirty and not cared for and the attitude of every worker I interacted with was disappointing. My daughter used to work for Starbucks and I have visited plenty of them and have never been treated so poorly and I paid for a bagel that wasn’t what my child asked for despite it being an un toasted bagel that she had ordered.

The little girl at the drive thru is just terrible and this isn't the first time everyone has bad days so I initially wrote it off before in a prior experience but there's no professionalism or customer service skills with that one 1/28/24 @ 10:30

they are consistently out of popular menu items like Matcha plain bagels, certain coffee strains. I would avoid this location like the plague

Absolutely disgusting by one employee. I take a walk every morning with my dog. Some mornings, i place a mobile order, walk with her to Starbucks, I stop leash her up on the patio, and go in and pick it up. One can then deduce I do not have a car to go through the drive thru.
This morning, I place an order to walk into the building, take my dog with me, upon walking a mile, I find out via a note on the doors and locked doors that you have to go through the drive thru because they are short
Staffed. Oddly enough, there were ant least 2 other customers in the cafe (2 were working on their laptops.)
I wave and gesture that I placed and order, don’t have my car, and have my dog with me, which I did not want to unsafely stand in line with cars! One employee, Josie, while behind the line, throws her hands up and shrugs and walks away.
I grabbed my dog and stood in the drive thru line to get my order. I worked in the service industry for 4 years and understand being short staffed but to be that rude and inconsiderate is appalling. It is unsafe to have a customer and her dog stand in the drive thru line because no one can just quickly walk it to her on a one-off case because she is on a walk, a mile from her home, with her dog.

Constantly closing the cafe in the afternoons without warning ahead of time to mobile order customers. Therefore, after placing a mobile order you are forced to wait 20+ minutes in the super long drive-thru to pick up your order.

The only consistency with this store is the rate at which it’s going down hill. The best crew seems to be morning when they are the busiest, but even still are incredibly slow. By the time you get to the window you realize half the employees are rushing and the other half are meandering about. At literally all other times of day, not ONE employee seems to work with a sense of urgency.

What’s even worse is the fact that for a few months now we’ve noticed they are “sold out” of nearly everything on the app, so you cannot mobile order, yet at the drive thru order screen and window it’s available. When asked, they’ve admitted to doing this intentionally to stop mobile orders and reduce the amount of customers.

Lastly, at $7 per beverage + incredibly long wait, I expect the order to be 100% correct. Every time I order through the mobile order it’s a surprise as to whether I will be missing pumps, packets, wrong milk, seemingly half the amount of espresso, or some other issue. READ. THE. STICKER. It’s literally all there for you, this isn’t hard.

And suggesting “to let the barista know and they will remake” is simply an absurd recommendation. Not one… literally NOT ONE person is going to sit there and sip their drinks for a moment and hold the line up to make sure it’s correct, and then wait another 5-10 min for a remake AT THE DRIVE THRU. Who doesn’t just drive away?? Not to mention, the drinks could be for others. So let’s do this… retrain, hold your folks responsible for quality control, and for gods sake teach a sense of urgency!

The new Egg, Pesto & Mozzarella Sandwich is what brought me back, but after FINALLY experiencing a genuinely polite person running the drive-thru window, I'll certainly be back more often. Stop in and give this location a try.

The barista that was doing the drive-through this morning, August 17 was awful. You could barely hear what she was asking you and when you told her, you had to keep repeating it — by the time I got up to the window, the coffee that I had ordered was completely overfilled spilt on my shirt, I was not happy. She needs to be trained.

I went in on a Thursday to get my BOGO. I usually order ahead online but I didn’t this time because I was right around the corner. I told the girl at the window who was clearly training to apply my coupon. She nodded and scanned my code for me to pay. I had a gut feeling she didn’t apply the code but didn’t look up the receipt until I got home. I realized later in the day that she did not apply my coupon when I called Starbucks to let them know their solution was to come in and they will give me a free drink. Since I live about 20-30 minutes away that was not an option. I’m over their over priced, highly caloric beverages. Do better for charging the amount you do you should accommodate your customers when your employee makes an error.

Starbucks is trying to get some of my value meal business. The Pairings Menu. $6, sandwich and tall drink. I called it a large and have been looking over my shoulder for the Starbucks police. I like it. Next time I am going full Starbuckian. I got a shot of this, half squeeze of that and a sprinkle of the other thing. - Sidebar - did the notice in the video from inside, the guy across from me has fancy casual shoes. He must be a regular.

This location is always grungy and dirty. The counters are always a mess. Staff is very rude and dismissive. They literally will see you standing there and not take your order for another five minutes. This location is in desperate need of new management…
