Stopped off at DeCo to check out the food stalls. Stu and Sammy's did not disappoint. The staff on hand were chatting and cleaning but attended to my order right away when I placed it. Glad to see the crew had comradery as well as cleanliness when business was slow.
Delicious, gooey grilled cheese. I added tomato for some acidity, but I loved my comfort food. It was served with some of the thickest housemade chips I've ever had (lots of awesome crunch) and good seasoning on them. They reminded me of crunchtators, maybe the BBQ flavor?
Anyways, props to this deli for a job well done!

I did a take out and bought a $18 salad with $5 additional for chicken. I wish I checked the quality of the food. It's not acceptable! It had just 4 little tiny bites of chicken with just all lettuce. Also no dressing was given. I will never go back to them!!! The owner of this place should be ashamed and ask themselves if they would pay $18 for what they sell for. If it's their workers who are not following the recipe protocols and going too low on ingredients, then they need to be retrained. This is just not okay.

When my order is completed successfully here on time, the food has been great. However, I probably will not be back based on the last two times I’ve ordered. When I watch my grilled cheese not even get grilled but rather put through a toaster, (for only a few seconds) I preferably would like to not spend $15.

I ordered a Philly Cuban (amazing ?) and my friend ordered a Chicken cutlet sandwich (also amazing) fries (very good) and 2 drinks (good). Everything had perfect flavor, was hot and made fresh. It gets busy at lunch, so definitely worth the wait!

I bought ice cream and french fries from this place and was shocked at smallness of the portions. The ice cream was $4 for a tiny scoop and the fries were no bigger than a small McDonald's fries for the New York price of $5. Wilmington, DE is NOT New York. I'll find a place that doesn't gouge its customers.

I ordered the Philly Cuban and the Mac n Cheese. Absolutely fantastic. I talked to the supervisor and asked about the place, and learned they use fresh ingredients. No wonder the food is so good. The bread crumbs in the mac n cheese is also great because most places don't have that homemade touch. Anytime I'm in the city around lunch time, Stu & Sammy's is one the top 5 spots I'll go to.

I’m not one to leave negative reviews but it caught me off guard that my salad came with basically no dressing and when I asked for a little more on the side so my salad was edible they told me it would be a dollar extra and they weren’t even nice about it. I guess salads don’t come with dressing! So expect to be charged more for what you already ordered.
Don’t waste your money on the salads. The “strawberry vinaigrette” is more of a paste than vinaigrette. It’s also pretty bad. The meager protein portions don’t offset the “salad” whichIs just a bowl of lettuce and nothing much else.
