Great tacos and wings. The chimichanga was great. We go here whenever we're in the area.

Taco Grande has potential, but my recent visit left a lot to be desired. The highlight of the evening was definitely the live music — the singer was talented and brought great energy to the space. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the vibe.

I ordered the carne asada, and it came out pink in the middle and burnt on the outside — not a great combo and definitely not cooked properly. Overall, the food felt sub-par, especially given the expectations set by the lively atmosphere.

Adding to the odd experience, a large group of kids kept running in and out of the restaurant throughout the night, which was distracting and made the dining environment feel chaotic.

Taco Grande has the ambiance for a good night out thanks to the music, but the food and the lack of control over the dining room environment brought the experience down.

Wanted to give this place more stars because the vibe was really cool, but the service wasn’t great and I didn’t get to eat because they sent me the wrong food after about 45 minutes to an hour of waiting and I was over it. And it wasn’t even crowded so I’m really not sure what the excuse was.

We got a table on the patio by the bar. It seemed like there was a competition to avoid us. Finally somebody took all the dishes from the people before. Then I had to get someone's attention to come wipe the table off. We sat there longer until I finally had to get someone's attention to take our order. They were in a hurry taking care of everybody else for sure.
I was born and raised in Texas, been there 56 years. I lived in Mexico for a year, I know what Mexican food is. I don't know what kind of Mexicans own this place but the food was horrible. And Reggaeton music is not Mexican. The only thing it had to do with Mexican food was that there was beans, rice, tortillas and cheese. COMPLETELY disappointing, waste of money.

Busy Sunday, bar had just turned over. 2 bartenders, clearly tired Slow to clear spots 2 groups of 3 told to wait, but seats were not cleared. Both groups walked out. Got soda but not water until meal came, soda refill was flat. 1 bartender at this point. Manager was behind bar doing service bar. Food was great as always. Overall experience would have been better if bartenders were less overwhelmed and manager thanked people for being patient, including bar tables that had to come to bar for drinks. Also QR to record points not working. Note- Longtime customer of BFG and hope this was an off night

Food is hit or miss, maybe depends on the staff? I love the fish tacos but 1/2 the time they’re soggy and not crispy. Love the ambiance.

Absolutely the best chimichanga around. This place is consistent, huge portions and great place to bring the little ones to run around.

The salsa is watery and has an okay flavor. The service was good. My adult bev tasted like mostly juice, it could have been better. It was the consensus of the table with others that had adult beverages. I have definitely eaten at better Mexican restaurants.

Stood at bar for 10 minutes while ignored and other people served. We were going to try it even though other people said the food was not good. So we left and went to Iron Hill, next door, much better.
