Busy Sunday, bar had just turned over. 2 bartenders, clearly tired Slow to clear spots 2 groups of 3 told to wait, but seats were not cleared. Both groups walked out.
Got soda but not water until meal came, soda refill was flat. 1 bartender at this point.
Manager was behind bar doing service bar.
Food was great as always. Overall experience would have been better if bartenders were less overwhelmed and manager thanked people for being patient, including bar tables that had to come to bar for drinks.
Also QR to record points not working.
Note- Longtime customer of BFG and hope this was an off night

The salsa is watery and has an okay flavor. The service was good. My adult bev tasted like mostly juice, it could have been better. It was the consensus of the table with others that had adult beverages. I have definitely eaten at better Mexican restaurants.

Stood at bar for 10 minutes while ignored and other people served. We were going to try it even though other people said the food was not good. So we left and went to Iron Hill, next door, much better.

This restaurant leans into its name for sure because it is pretty spacious! Great spot for family, and/ or drinks after work. They also have live music during the week. The guacamole is the best I have ever had. They make their tortillas very fresh, you can see and smell them being made as your dining. The black beans are also delicious. I had a special entree that came with spanish rice and bistec. Overall it was very delicious, I just thought my steak was a little on the salty side. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I'd go back if ever in Wilmington

The vegetarian fiatas were fantastic! what even topped that was the appetizer broiled brussel sprouts with special sauce. that that just blew me away. Amazing. Every time my girlfriend I go there we always get the brussel sprouts as an appetizer!!

Loved our first visit here! Staff was great, providing friendly, accurate and timely service. Food was very good - came out fast and everything was delicious. We ordered the TG original guac - definitely recommend! - the Al pastor and Carne Asada tacos. We'll definitely be back again!

Love the decor and vibe, food and drink were excellent!
The free chips and salsa were yummy, though we weren't able to enjoy the full bowl of chips because about half were tiny pieces.
I got the ground beef chimichanga which was huge and very tasty.
My husband got the Birria tacos which he said were delicious.
We finished with the churro dessert and oh my goodness that was sooo yummy.
Definitely recommend this place for the margaritas, chimichanga and Birria tacos and dessert!!

The atmosphere, music, and view of the river was lovely! Not only was our server incredibly kind but so were all the other workers there! They welcomed us, gave us recommendations, and ensured that we were comfortable.
Moreover, the food was delicious! We ordered various food including tamales, fajitas, and tacos. The presentation of the food was amazing and it was warm and flavorful. I hope we come back again!
