As a native Mexican it can be difficult to find a good place to eat real examples of Mexican food that are actually close to the real thing. I recently moved to Delaware and been trying new tacos every chance I get, i am happy to report that Don Vicente is a good example of what you would expect in my homeland, simple yet well executed food that gave me a warm feeling of home. Will be one of my go to places for sure. Service was friendly as well.
The best burritos ever! Anytime we’re ever passing through the area, stopping here is a must. If we’re within an hour or 2 of our trip route, we know we’re stopping in for amazing food and service at a fair price! We live in northern NJ, so this means anytime we’re heading to VA, or DC or anywhere near Baltimore or Philly, we’re getting some delicious burritos! ? highly recommended
We’ve come to this family-run restaurant for years, and the food and service have always been consistently excellent. We ordered the tacos al pastor, Cubana torta, menudo soup, and consome soup. The two soups are only available during the weekend, but they’re both so flavorful, and the other taco options are also great. The tortas have huge portions, and they’re some of the best in the area.
