Taverna Rustic Italian Wilmington

The server immediately seated us and took our drink order. The staff worked really hard to make our experience a great one. We enjoyed the food and will definitely continue to return!

Taverna continues to be a favorite for me and my friends. The food was excellent. The service was excellent as the general manager came to our table and asked if everything was to our liking or if he could bring additional things to us.

Went for Restaurant Week and was not disappointed. My chicken sandwich was huge!!! Had to take half home. The arancini was a first for me. My friend had the rigatoni and sausage. Again, a huge and delicious portion.

It was a great place to have brunch & catch up with my niece. It is halfway between our homes, there is plenty of parking, the menu was great, the place was clean & attractive, the server was delightful , the service perfect, the food very good, and the value exceptional. Thank you.

The service and food here is nothing short of impeccable. The meals served are top notch, and my server, Garret, was simply splendid and made my day (which was not off to a great start). There is plenty of variety, and they cater very well to vegetarians like myself. His kind, gentle demeanor and excellent sense of humor was delightful. The degree of personal, tender service puts places like the Ritz-Carlton to shame! I am definitely going to be a patron again.

Server was great. Food was not bad. Drinks were not the best. The espresso martini is watered down with barely any alcohol or espresso.

My family likes this restaurant and we try to go at least monthly. We've never had a bad meal, and they are always accommodating.

My husband and I came here for the first time tonight. Everything was delicious! Our server was fantastic, just the right amount of attentiveness. We came here on a Tuesday and had no problem sitting outside. I had the beef brasato (minus the mushrooms) and it was wonderful. Very cozy meal. My husband has the rigatoni and sausage and ate every bite. We look forward to returning!

Great experience overall. Food was delicious. I had the Rigatoni and sausage. Highly recommend it! Our server was a bit slower than expected so that could use improvement. He also seemed a little young or inexperienced. Other than that, great atmosphere and experience.

Ambience was great and our waiter was friendly and respected our time and privacy when we needed more time to order and chat. Food was good, but the gnocchi was a little too oily for me. Not bad at all- just a little too much.

The food was good, came out quick and hot. Didn't have to doctor it up. The waitress was sweet, attentive and very charismatic. The decor was nice, made the whole place feel chill and very calming.

Taverna is always a delightful dining experience. The waitstaff and manager were very attentive and accommodating. We've never had a meal that we haven't enjoyed.
