They gave me a full basket of chips and salsa even though I was alone. The burrito was like $10 as a lunch special. Staff was friendly and attentive.

The food was great, as always, but the waitress was slow this time. The manager took care of us with a large chunk of chocolate cake on them.

So this place is what I call one of my hidden gems. When I go not a lot of people are there. Service is always amazing and they have my favorite chimichangas around (shrimp, soft). Anyway last night we went for my partners birthday, he calls it his comfort food. What made our trip extra special (we went to the Philadelphia pike location) was that they opened a burrito sweets next door. I got a chamoyada with mango ice cream it was so good, we got cheese cake and tried this new dessert I have no idea what it’s called but it’s like eggnog ish with jello. This new addition really made this place 1000x better for me. I’ll always be a customer but the Burrito sweets caught my heart.

An absolute gem. Sat down for lunch yesterday at the bar area and got greeted immediately with kindness and good service. I wanna say the guy behind the bars name was Saul but I'm not 100% sure. Super nice dude that was a great server. They brought out chips and salsa and I ordered the crunchy taco meal with rice and beans. The food was great. Definitely will be coming back.

Tex Mex Burrito on Philadelphia Pike is by far our favorite eatery in the area. My family has been coming here for years. Every time we come in we are taken great care of. Last night we had my son's 2nd birthday party here and they went above and beyond for us. Will always recommend! Thank you to Fatima (GM) and her staff.

I went for Takeout. I have lived near this restaurant for years but just decided to try them. One of the first things that I thought was noteworthy was when I walked in the door, all the employees turned to look at me and to heartily greet me with Hellos and Welcome. This was noteworthy because I find this very rare in a Mexican restaurant but it really warmed me. They were very patient and kind while taking my order. I decided to try the chicken enchiladas with a verde (green) sauce, one of my favorites which allowed me to really compare them to another Mexican restaurant on 202. I found that the food was equally as good and $1.00 cheaper than the restaurant on 202. Tex Mex also gave me chips and a little salsa with my takeout meal just as if I were eating it in the restaurant. I thought this was a good perk as the restaurant on 202 doesn't do this and I've gotten takeout from there twice. I can't wait to go to Tex Mex Burrito again!!!! I think what really sold me was the hospitality. There's a well known restaurant down Philly Pike and I used to go there on my birthday every year but I stopped going. Why? Was it the food? No. It was the hospitality or lack thereof. They would not greet you and take your menu order without a smile and your money as well. I feel that if I'm buying your food, you should at least smile at me once during my visit. But Tex Mex Burrito goes all out. For real, I thought they only thing missing was them calling out my name when I walked in the door so hearty was the greeting. It was like walking into the Cheers Bar...you know where everyone knows your name. Anyway..Good job Tex Mex Burrito, Philadelphia Pike.

The pineapple shrimp was fabulous and outstanding presentation. My serving bowl was a carved out perfect pineapple then grilled to proffection. Wait staff is attentive, friendly and very professional.

First time here was a Thursday evening very light crowd. Food was very good . I had the enchiladas verandas, someone else in our group had a carnitas dish. They were some of the best carnitas I have had locally. On the down side I think they are a little skimpy with the sauce I would have liked a lot more sauce on my enchiladas verandas. The free ships and salsa were kept full during the meal. The salsa was ok I prefer mine a little chunkier but it was tasty non the less. Prices are very reasonable. Service was very good. plenty of parking is available.Parking: can be tight

Food was delicious! I had the Hawaiian tacos with rice and beans and a golden margarita- I almost needed 2 hands to lift it! My husband had pulled pork with pineapple and his was also very good. This was our first visit and I would highly recommend it. We will be back again.
