The Opulent Restaurant & Lounge

My first time here. I was with friends celebrating my Cousins birthday. Service was amazing and we Absolutely loved Tyler. Can't remember the Lady name in the front, but she was Awesome and showed us around when we arrived. Now my only complaint is the "chicken sliders" I thought it would be a chicken breast on a mini bun, but it was more like a burger. Even though it says "two fried chicken sliders" So they just need to change to something like "chicken burger sliders" ..which clearly was not fried.. but I had to give it back because that's not what I wanted. Overall I recommend and I will be back.

Danielle was our server, and she was knowledgeable, attentive and all around amazing! The restaurant is luxuriously designed, and the food was nothing short of incredible! I had kebabs and lollypop chicken, and both were a hit. My wife had the butter chicken and also said it was amongst the best she had. We have eaten in many Indian places across the USA. Out 3 kids had food from the kid’s menu and were thoroughly satisfied. Needless to say, from the food to the service everything was remarkable, and we will definitely be coming back!

A Perfect 50th Birthday Celebration at “The Opulent”

I recently celebrated my Birthday at The Opulent Lounge Bar, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was inviting and sophisticated, setting the perfect tone for a memorable evening.

The decor is chic and modern, with comfortable seating arrangements that encourage both relaxation and socializing.
The menu offered a fantastic variety of delicious appetizers and entrees!!

One of the standout features was the private area we had reserved for the party. It provided an intimate space for my friends to gather, laugh, and celebrate. The lounge bar also accommodated our requests for special decorations, adding a personal touch that made the night even more special!!

For being a recently opened restraraunt & lounge it seems they could at least post the hours and dress code on the website. How do they expect customers to know how to make plans to met for a meal when the hours aren’t posted on the website? Open for lunch, are shorts & te shirts acceptable? This doesn’t seem like to much to ask for to be a part of the website if you expect customers to give you a try.

Amazing Indian food, in my 5 years of living in the USA I have never had good butter chicken like theirs. I would recommend fresh chicken or Tandoori chicken. I would recommend spicy level high as the mild was not kicking.
Amazing atmosphere, I like the fact that they have different rooms with different themes.
For the drinks I would recommend Blueberry Mojito.

I also wanted to touch the American side of the restaurant I had their chicken Alfredo Pasta that was not well seasoned for my taste. It was jumping hot when it came to the table.

The decor is beautiful! It is lovely and modern. Each room is unique but they all coordinate so nicely. The bar area is fabulous. Taylor aka “T” is fabulous. I didn’t want to leave. The drinks were on point and the conversation and mood were perfect’. Love love love!

It’s hard for me to put into words what an amazing experience we had here. Not only was the food delicious but the service was impeccable. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu and helped guide some of the less adventurous eaters in our group. There were many remarks made by our party about the chicken and lamb being the best they’ve ever had. I can’t wait to return and see what else they have to offer!

We were a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. None of us had been here before. Our waiter was amazing. He gave some recommendations and explained the dishes so well. We started with drinks (try the butterscotch White Russian), zuccini fritters and the combination meat platter containing lamb, chicken and shrimp. All was amazingly tender. For dinner I had the black pepper chicken which was delicious. Other things ordered by our party were butter chicken with garlic naan, salmon (very large portion), fettuccini and kid friendly tenders and fries. Everything was delicious and we took leftovers home as the portions were large. I cannot say enough about our server who was attentive and had such a great personality. Looking forward to going again. Give it a try and spread the word to your friends.

Kid-friendliness: The kids with us liked the choices on the kid menu. She had a nice portion of chicken tenders and fries. Another child with us enjoyed the fettuccini Alfredo from the regular menu

This restaurant opened 3 weeks ago you wouldn’t be able to tell. Everything was so yummy! You could tell everything was fresh and served promptly. The waiter and everyone there was so nice. They will be starting doing drag shows every other week. Will be going back!

Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options for meals and they are so so yummy.

Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu with several different items to choose from.

Best lounge in DE!!! T the bartender makes THE BEST drinks & even has their own drink on the menu! Food is top notch, nothing like this anywhere around the area!

I was so excited for this place to open and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is delectable as well as the food. The sampler was amazing- lamb (the dipping sauce was out of this world!) chicken and shrimp, also vegetarian options. My party had several of the entrees, everyone loving each bite- spicy lamb, the lamb chops, Singapore noodles, butter chicken and Korma chicken. The portion size for the entrees is very large and each meal is enough for two people in my option. I’m very exited for my lunch tomorrow!!! They catered to our 4 year old who was super picky but loved the rice!! She recommends it! Our server was also amazing-T! It was my mother in laws birthday and she was treated to desert! So so nice!! Thank you T! They were amazing and would request them again. My family will definitely be going back!!
