Best spot to get great, fresh sushi!! Went there on Thursday, Jan 4th, 2023 and found out they have closed their doors ! My son and i were heartbroken! If anyone knows if they have relocated somewhere else pls let me know!!

Picked up some sushi for lunch from the to go area. We got a special roll with crab and shrimp tempura and then my husband got the spicy combo. My husband sushi was decent. The spicy crab def. Had a kick to it. My special roll was just okay. There was plenty of crab on top but half of the roll looked like there was just tempura flakes and not shrimp tempura throughout the roll. Parts of the avocado also had dark spots on it too like it's old avocado. Again not the best sushi. If I got my husband's roll I would be more happy with it but for $13 for my roll I expected more. Also my roll had way too much rice and not a lot of filling.

The food was very expensive for the quality. I had a tune entree and it was frankly bland and the tuna was frozen. I won't be coming back.
Worst sushi place I've ever been to. Doesn't answer the phone at all, the menu is completely different than the online menu, and they're out of everything. Drove 45 minutes to get here to just turn around, and go back out the door. Never again

Tokyo Sushi is located inside the Riverfront Market. I've gotten take out sushi from here quite a few times. The one thing that sets their takeout sushi here from other places, is the thickness and the size of the cuts of fish they give you for your nigiri! It's like eating a small sandwich! I absolutely love it! The portion of the fish per piece of nigiri is pretty much what other sushi restaurants use for 2 pieces of nigiri! The husband and wife that work here are very sweet, the chef is of a few words, but you can tell he enjoys what he is doing, and takes pride in it. Can't wait until my next visit.

My wife and I keep on coming back to this sushi place so many times over the years. Fresh sushi to order. I recommend ordering rather picking up from the ready made ones, if you have time to do so. $9 minimum for cards. There is an ATM machine inside the building if you need cash. Our favorite is eel roll.
