“Tropical Smoothie Cafe was an excellent choice for dinner the other night! I had several choices, all expensive. This was not, and it was excellent! I gave the four -star rating for the food, it might not have been fair, but I took the wrap home and, while still edible, was soggy.“
“Hello. I just wanted to say that I’m always coming here to order a Sunset Sunrise, and a flat bread. I want to give a shout out to an employee. One of your workers, her name I believe is Na..she’s soo sweet, very welcoming, and i just love her energy! Kudos to her!“
“Efficient franchise, run with heart. Owners are great. Smoothies > breakfast wraps > lunches. Haven't tried many of the açai bowls yet.
Pricey, but still MUCH more affordable than either playa bowls across the street or purchasing a Vitamix blender yourself. Yummier and seems fresher than a smoothie king.
Smoothies are giant & still come with a plastic type of straw (at some point i will bring my own reusable straw, because who can actually deal with the travesty of a cardboard straw in a cold drink). Love the customization options.
Only suggestion, probably discuss with corporate: dislike the sprinkling of raw (unsoaked) chia seeds over all of the bowls. I tend to mix the bowl up and let it sit for 10-30 minutes before eating, to avoid triggering major belly bloat, when the raw chia hits the liquid in my stomach and converts to its chia gel format. Unfortunately mixing it up destroys the pretty layers & also makes the granola subpar (mushy) by the time I eat it.
I love chia seeds. But not raw. I don't know if it'd be plausible to add the seeds in presoaked gel format, or have them already mized into the berry/yogurt base, so they'd be all ready to serve up - like a premade chia pudding.“
