The food is very good although a little expensive. They should use other types of takeout containers, since the ones they use cannot be used in the microwave since they are aluminum, and the lids never close properly and the food spills.

Food has always been nothing but amazing. Authentic flavors, pleasant staff, Nice size portions, and fare prices. Everything has always been fresh. Staff has always been pleasant and will make suggestions and even substitute if needed. One of my favorite places for Authentic Spanish food.

I initially went to Carmen‘s kitchen today at 10 AM because that’s when they’re supposed to be open but they weren’t so then down the street. I saw Tropicalia and decided to give it a chance because I also love Dominican food.

Well, this food definitely brought me back to Santo Domingo when I used to go there with my ex during happier times. We ordered stewed chicken and rice and gandules with steak (pictured).
