So first off, I ordered food called the guy had a bad attitude over the phone. That was the first thing I arrive to get my food. This guy is helping some people OK mind you I got in the store first white man walks in he caters to the white man act like I wasn’t even there comes around the bar. I had to tell him Sir I’m picking up an order he’s like well you’re on your phone, I said so what I am alert and oriented seven times I can do more than one thing at a time and what if I was Uber or DoorDash wouldn’t I have to be on my phone this guy was so nasty saying do you want the food or not cause we’re not gonna be wasting food And there’s other people to be served after all these white people come walking in after me well guess what I left him there and the food he looked dirty. His hands were nasty. He had no teeth in his mouth and he look like he was waiting for his next crackhead . This restaurant deserves no stars.

Food was completely awful. I literally could not take one bite of the curry. I would have rated it one star but have a 2 because of the outstanding service.Avoid at all

We were told half of the menu was not available including their own bar specials. We have been coming here for years and this was absolutely heartbreaking to see the level of service plummet. The.young waiter kept getting our order wrong and he mumbled the entire time he spoke. Many of the long time items are gone from the menu...they were even out of desserts. Its quite obvious that the ball of service and quality has been severely dropped at this establishment

Nice clean restaurant. Wasn't too crowded but we waited over 45 minutes for our food. Out of shrimp and curry on a Saturday night. Unusually slow for Thai

We had not been to Ubon for many years, preferring another local Southeast Asian restaurant which is excellent but only has take out. We thought we'd give Ubon a try again because it had been a long time, and we wanted to eat out. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good, the wait staff was very friendly. The presentation of the food was also good, and it was even nicely spiced, but other than the spicy taste, our dishes just simply lacked flavor. Also, I picked tofu for my protein, and there were only 6 small pieces of tofu in the whole dish. . It was so disappointing that we do not plan to return.

Liked the food and service. It's next to a river or stream and in evening it felt better to sit out in patio. Food portions are huge and everyone of us took togo. Same Spice level on few items felt different.Parking: It's little difficult to find this place from parking lot. It's on other side of the building.

This is totally not cool. Me and my friend went here for lunch. Each of us ordered one entree and I ordered an appetizer for the table. They was asking me whether I would like the appetizer to come first or together with the entrees and I said appetizer comes first for us to share. Then, only the appetizer and others’ entrees came at the same time. I spent 40 minutes waiting for my entrée while my friends were finishing their food. They kept telling me “yes, this is the case because you said you wanted the appetizer first and your food will be ready shortly”. I literally saw other customers who ordered after us got their food ready during this long 40 minutes. In the end, I had to canceled my entrée and only received a “sincerely” “yea, we apologize for that”. And, because of we have more than 5 in our party, we were “forced” to give at least 20% gratuity.

We had an early dinner here Saturday 7/29/23. Having eaten here many times over the last decade, we have had excellent food and service. This time was deplorable. Never anywhere have we had such a rude waiter. He managed to insult all three in our party: an elderly woman and her two handicapped guests. We were made to fell unwelcome and it created tension in what should have been a pleasant dining experience. Ubon was out of many items, prices had increased, there was an unmentioned $4 up charge for gluten-free, the food tasted very stale, and the men’s room was filthy. Our waiter was so impatient we ate and got out of there ASAP. My guests are still upset at how poorly they were treated. Don’t make the Pandemic an excuse for your problems! If finding and properly training staff is so difficult, I recommend you close your doors and don’t open them until you get your act together.

Okay so some of the reviews say the food took too long or it was dirty. I didnt experience that personally. Our server was also really sweet. But if they put half as much effort into the vibe as they did their food, my review would be much better. Plus stay away if you’re vegan. They do accommodate for vegans and use vegan broth in their dishes but prepared to pay an extra $4 for that. I have never in all the times ive eaten at a thai restaurant been charged for vegan broth. Or something equivalent which shouldn’t cost $4 extra. Both my husband and i got the huli huli and the drunken noodles veganized and were charged $4 each. And the food itself was very average. Not something I would come back for again. Lacking flavor and we didn’t finish it all. If it wasnt for the $4 extra charge, this review would be a 3/5 based on the food. That extra charge really made the whole experience so much worse.

We have come here a few times a year for at least 10 years now.Staff are sweethearts. The place needs some updating. Cushions are worn, trim is dingy. Floor and tables a little sticky upon our latest visit. Red curry (panang) not quite as fresh although zucchini and duck was tasty. Broth was mehMy wife said her pad Thai tasted different and gave it 6/10Needs a little polish or might be time to sunset this establishment. Less than half full on a Saturday night is a worrisome sign.

I was a single diner. While I was seated promptly, I was ignored by the staff persons. Both (there were two) walked by me but neither acknowledged my presence. I left after each of the servers took care of parties that were seated after me. Single diners are commonly treated poorly, which is shameful as you have no idea who they are or how they could bring future business to an establishment. As for me, I coordinate/host dinners for visiting customers from my parent company in China. Sometimes I have the gatherings catered, sometimes I will reserve space at the restaurant. It is a shame. I was looking forward to sampling the food. But because of your poor/lack of service, I can guarantee that I will not be using/recommending your facility.
