Urban Kitchen has been one of my go-to spots for over a year now, and the consistency is unmatched. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner (we’re usually there for breakfast before church), the food is always excellent.
My must-haves: the buttermilk pancakes, stuffed mushroom crab balls, fried grouper sandwich, and shrimp quesadillas all amazing and never disappoint. I’ve tried other items too, but these keep me coming back weekly.
Service is top tier. The staff remembers orders and preferences, which says a lot. Huge shoutout to Christy!! who deserves special recognition. She has waited on us several times over the past six months and has truly become one of our favorites. Her energy, warm smile, and attentiveness make each visit feel welcoming. She even remembers that my best friend and I are usually together if she sees me, she instinctively looks around to see if my friend is with me. That kind of personal touch goes a long way.
Most recently, we came in as a party of nine to celebrate a family event and were seated in Christy’s section. She handled our large group effortlessly and took care of us as if it were just another smooth Sunday afternoon.
To be completely transparent, there was one instance where our food came out burnt. We sent it back, and it was promptly corrected. There was also a moment during that situation when the manager wasn’t as friendly as we would have hoped. Everyone has off days, and while that interaction stood out, it has not deterred us in any way from continuing to dine here regularly.
Overall, Urban Kitchen has earned our loyalty through consistently great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. One minor hiccup does not outweigh a year of positive experiences. We will absolutely continue to visit weekly and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality food and dependable service.

We had a lovely breakfast here: eggs, home fries, and toast, and avocado eggs bennie with fruit. Home fries and whole grain toast were especially good. We'll be back!

I wanted breakfast and boy did I get breakfast! I ordered the Fried Grouper with Cheesy Grits & Eggs. The food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be going there again.

This was my 1st time here and the food was delicious and plenty. The service was excellent once seated and with that being said, I highly suggest you call ahead of time to be placed on a waiting list. The restaurant itself is not very spacious and can't really accommodate the high traffic they get but that is a testimony to how good the food is and worth waiting for. So if you're ever in the area stop in and treat yourself.

I like to taste avocado toasts in different restaurants, This is worst and most expensive avocado toast I ever had , it said it’s smashed avocado on toasts but it’s not smash and literally just some sliced avocado and tomato. $18 for this and 2 eggs with a fruit bowl?

This was a long time coming. I had been wanting to go but it was aways busy. Bow I see why the food was food and the service was great however it is not a quiet spot most of the time so be ready for the chatter of satisfied patrons. I sat at the bar today only spot that was able for 1 person and it was tight but food made up for it. Bar tender Phil was a nice man but a meal will be pricey so keep it in mind
