I'm a convert. Still don't like the red sauce, but there are sooooooooo many alternatives on the menu you can't go wrong. And if that ain't good 'nuf, just ask for the walking menu. You just tell it what you want and that's what you get. Older bro thinks he's got the Ceasar down dead to rights - I'm on the fence. Older bro's got the flavor but a heavy hand on the oil. But he wins in the end as he's like 4:1 on parmesan balls landed. IYKYK
First time. I don't generally like Italian, but what I ordered was good. The show that comes with the Ceasar salad is a hoot. Might up my rating after a 2nd visit.

I just finished dining at Vincente’s with a large party of about 15 for a birthday dinner.
We arrived at 7pm. We did not get served with anything to eat until about 8pm. An amuse-bouche of flounder and toast with beer cheese was served at that time—but, bread for the table was not present AND we had not ordered our food yet…an hour after we arrived.
Management should have assigned two servers to the table instead of one.
Our party did not get our entrees until after 9 p.m.! Some of the items were forgotten until we had to remind the staff about them. The service was very slow and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. It was interesting because the restaurant was definitely not at full capacity.
A positive was that both the Caesar and House Salads were very good. The rest of the food seemed a bit lackluster due to the long wait and forgotten food items.
I would not recommend going to this restaurant with a large party.

We’ve been going to Vincente’s for 15+ years, and it’s always a great time. Walking in feels like visiting family—the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The food is top notch, and somehow the service is even better. I’d honestly go every week if it wouldn’t break the budget, but we make sure to get there 4–5 times a year because it’s always worth it. When family comes in from out of town, this is usually where we take them—and if they come back for another visit, they request we go again. That says everything you need to know.

This was our first time at Vincente's and we will for sure be back. We were able to thoroughly enjoy our experience as it was a bit slower paced. If you expect to be in and out quickly, go to a chain. Vincente's is a classic Italian restaurant with plenty of personality. We were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary sample of Crusted flounder and a piece of toasted house made bread topped with beer cheese, as neither I or my partner eat fish, but it was delicious. Next we ordered the mozzarella marinara which is a breaded mozzarella triangle ontop of a pool of their house made sauce. It is definitely a good choce as its not a huge portion but it makes you excited for the rest of your meal. We also got the table side caesar salad which I will say, if you expect the typical caesar dressing thats not what you will get here. This caesar salad will ruin other caesar's for you. After that they brought out their house made bread, nice and hot. Lastly was our entree, we both got the chicken parm and pasta. Our dishes were piping hot which we could tell they made fresh, and prepared with care. By the end of the meal as much as we wished we could we couldn't eat another bite. We will definitely be back as we wish we had enough room to try their tables ideas banana foster or any of their other desserts as we can tell they would be a fantastic treat to the end of a classy meal. Overall staff provided an entertaining yet layed back atmosphere, food nourished our soul, and we left satisfied. If you are debating on trying Vincente's, just do it already!
It's my dream to go here and meet Tom and his family! His social media posts make my mouth water. All of his patrons give him 5 stars! Best ceasar salad 🥗 in the US!

This was the 4th time my wife and I have gone here. As usual everything and everyone was excellent. We were here for my wife's birthday. We had a great time here. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Whether it's special occasions or just wanting to have a great dining experience.
Try the walking menu!

Food was delish as always, but the service was horrible!! Waited over an hour after our food was delivered to the table to see our server, server was aware we needed chili flakes and water, plus other beverages. Had order a dinner special that came with dessert, asked for the dessert Togo, waited over 20 minutes and dessert was no where to be seen, left with out it ! Will not be back unfortunately, we were celebrating an anniversary that will be memorable, but not for the right reason!

It never ceases to amaze me how good the Caesar salad is! I don't eat salads but I eat this every visit! It's the best salad on the planet (according to me). This time, I decided to try the 9 ounce fillet. It was cooked perfectly. The Bernaise sauce is a nice touch. This is one of my favorite restaurants!
My wife and I are from Dover Delaware , we decided to go furniture shopping in Newark, and heard through a friend about this fantastic restaurant. The Italian food in this restaurant was amazing my wife, being Italian and being a foodie, certainly gave this place a five star rating. The food was not only delicious, our waitress was excellent. Unfortunately, we do not have any five star restaurants near us in Dover. I cannot wait to go back and try the other delicious things on their menu. This is truly a dining experience and you’re supposed to savor the food and enjoy the atmosphere not to rush through like you’re going through a drive-through window. Unfortunately, there are some people that do not appreciate fine dining, and Great atmosphere. The owner and his brother are extremely friendly and actually excited that we were there for the first time .Now that’s the way a person who is the owner and the customer are supposed to interact with each other.

Great atmosphere at the bar with Tom the drink and joke master. The food is great one visit and not great another. Their best food seems to be based on what time you arrive with the best, most consistent food closer to their opening than their closing.
We arrived at 5:30 with another couple, our 3rd couple was already seated. We put in our drink orders and when they arrived ordered dinner. At 6:15 we asked about our orders and were told they were coming. Same at 6:30. At 6:45 we approached the manager who said we shouldn't have waited so long to tell him. 10 minutes later he told me it was our fault because we didn't order appetizers and those orders are done first. I asked for my check for the drinks and it was time stamped 7:08.
Definitely one of my 5 worst restaurant experiences and I'm 82 so I've had a few.
