“This place is fantastic - it is small but mighty. We had a 20-25 minute wait but it was worth it and we aren’t locals but were in Middleburg visiting a family member this weekend. The food and frozen margaritas were fabulous but what really stood out was the service. I want to give a huge shout out to our server, Olivia, as she really went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. She had no clue that our cousin’s husband passed away earlier in the week and that this was the first time she has been out for a meal without him - she was very emotional and sad but she wanted a frozen margarita so when all of us family members arrived in the area- that’s what she was getting. Olivia was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of and we appreciated it tremendously. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and the portion sizes are huge - the beef tip burritos and quesadillas are delicious and we would get those again every time. Best wishes for this business and they are going to have to expand eventually with what they have to offer!“

“Great spot for both on-tap brews and bottles. Combo package store if you want to grab a six pack to go. Has a great rotating selection of beer. They recently got rid of their board games that they had for customers to play, which is the only (small) negative. Great beer, dog friendly, and they even have a military discount. And you can even spot local politicians / local celebrities in here having a brew occasionally!“

“What an unexpectedly amazing experience! I went in to grab a cigar or two to enjoy while being here in Jacksonville and I am so glad that I found this place! The owners are just wonderful and Kristin (I hope I'm spelling that right) absolutely nailed the cigars for me. After helping me chose the cigars we proceeded to have a conversation and I got to learn a little bit more about them and their business. “Listen I did not know this little hidden gem was right up the street from where me and my husband live, we decided to stop at the laundromat and do a couple of loads of laundry and noticed this place next door and was like, let's go check it out, Ms. Gina. I believe she is. The owner, greeted us very pleasantly... We ordered three fried chicken beans and rice plates & two banana colas... We were the only customers at that time. So the place was empty. Her attitude was quite friendly and refreshing. The atmosphere What's pleasant? The food was amazing. The chicken, even though it looked dried out. Trust me, when I tell you. It was very juicy & well-seasoned... The coleslaw. Was amazing. I wish I could have had a lot more than that. L o l I started to go back and ask her to do me a pint of it... Sometimes you have to get out and explore your neighborhood. The food reminds me of straight-home cooking, which is refreshing. That means a lot coming for me. I don't eat out because I am very picky. We'll be paying, Ms. Gina. A visit again... So if you guys are ever on the west side of Jacksonville, go check her out, you won't be disappointed... For 3 plates & two banana colas plus tip..it was $43“

“Went to Mandola’s yesterday for the first time and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was super friendly. The food was amazing! Branden the manager was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a piece of the chocolate cake and some gelato which was absolutely delicious! We most definitely will be back very soon!“

“Overall: A great stop for some pre or post game food and drinks.

The good: Came prior to a football game and even though the place was packed, the food and drinks were handled efficiently. The order line took 5-10 minutes to get through, but once we ordered the drinks were immediate and the food was delivered in 10-15 minutes or so (which was impressive given the amount of people there). Plenty of drink options and the food was pretty good overall, as long as you go in with the right bar-food expectations.

The not-so-good: Very crowded, but that added to the fun pregame vibes. That said, we were lucky to get a table. Parking is obviously a hassle (and pricey), especially during game days.
