I will never go again on a Wednesday. This is the first time I ever ate in a restaurant and did not even leave a tip. Terrible service. Rude cashier. Plates we're not removed from the table. Drinks were not refilled. There were three or four missing items on the steam table that we're not replaced, one of which was a main course item.. I usually go on Thursdays and the service is excellent. The person who waits our table is beyond excellent. You would expect the same level of service on other days. However today's service, food, and attitude we're absolutely terrible.

Murphy Motors (Murphy Motors Ocala)
This was our go to place until the new owners took over. I suspected something was wrong because it was lunchtime and the parking lot was empty. The new owners installed red heat lamps for dime reason and you could tell the food was sitting there a while. Too bad this place was great and do is the staff, I asked what was going on and one of the waitress’s whispered to me New Owners. I’d avoid this place at all cost now. What a shame.

We didn't start out for here as our first choice was closed. The place is small and cery clean. The buffet is very small in comparison to other places, however the choices were varied and surprisingly very good! I knew it would be good by the one thing I tend to rate a restaurant by, the Blu cheese dressing. They offer one of my favorites, Kraft institutional Blu cheese. I used to work as Asst. F & B Manager for a Country Club in Texas and we always had a gallon of the stuff in our fridge at home. Anyway, lots of fresh and yommy things on the rather small buffet. The fried fish was amazing, as we're the BBQ ribs. There were also porkchops, beef stew, a slew of vegetables and sides. Deserts were a bit disappointing, but I seldom eat dessert and fill up on the main stuff and salad. Service was friendly and helpful. Yjis place was really a very pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting much when we walked in, but the food changed my mind very quickly. Give them a try, it's quite yummy!

11/28/2025-my first visit and the service was amazing and wide selection of yummy food. I met my date here and we enjoyed the variety of food and the atmosphere was perfect for us to talk and get to know each other. Great memory here!!!! Thank you to the fun waitresses and their beautiful smiles for making my first visit enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back….hopefully with my new man! 🥰

Typically the food has been fantastic, but I today I got the country fried steak for breakfast. Which was undercooked, and not even beef. I've never had steak that was white. Made me sick to my stomach. Most likely won't go back.

Since the restaurant was sold the food quality is terrible. The new management has downgraded the food quality in every way possible. Pork chops are paper thin and dry. Chicken pieces are cut in half and dry. No melted cheese on top of the flavorless macaroni and cheese. Tonight at 6 PM place was a ghost town and dried out old food from lunch was sitting on the buffet because they refuse to get rid of food after it’s old and dried out. No replenishment until the last piece is gone. Thursday nights used to be a packed house because of pork chops night. No the case. This restaurant used to be a regular option for comfort food but no longer the case. Don’t waste your time or money.

It has been a long while (maybe a year) since I went, but vowed I'd never go back. The carpet was filthy, the walls were gross, and the place was dark and dingy. The food was nothing to write home about, but the place was in dire need of renovation.

The staff are always super nice! This was our third time here. The food was no where near as good as usual. The fish tasted like dirt and the chicken was dry and over cooked. Potatoes had no flavor and the rest tater like food at the hospital best thing was the chicken livers.. I feel like the quality has gone down.
