A very cozy and comforting atmosphere and I was so happy to connect with someone during a tumultuous time period. I felt safe here. The service was nice, kind, friendly and respectful. “The chicken wings are excellent! I don't know what they marinate them in but they have a great flavor. Their wonton soup also was excellent. We had a teriyaki chicken dinner and the chicken was great. The fried rice was a bit bland, but still good. Chicken chow mein was just like what I would get in NY. The onions and cabbage were soft and the chicken was what it should be in chow mein. Added some soy sauce to give it just a bit more flavor. Overall 5/5!!”

Recently was able to try this place working remotely for a couple hours. Really enjoyed the coffee atmosphere.

From the moment you walk in, the modern industrial vibe and welcoming staff make you feel right at home. Very home like with families, students, remote workers all working away.

Didn’t try their avocado toast, paninis or other food, but the basic vanilla latte was fantastic.

Doxa is a perfect stop for coffee lovers in the Alachua/Gainesville area—and a must-try if you’re exploring local cafés with personality.”
