“This is the very first restaurant a new-found friend took me to after I moved to Gainesville FL from Philadelphia PA back in 2018/2019. A very cozy and comforting atmosphere and I was so happy to connect with someone during a tumultuous time period. I felt safe here. The service was nice, kind, friendly and respectful. “So I moved to the area about a year ago. Long story short, my family and I eat there more than any other local restaurant. Axel runs an incredible kitchen and bar. The food is incredible. I've tried most of the menu and there hasn't been anything that we thought was lack luster. Great food, great atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in town. All the servers have been great but special shout out to Megan that goes above and beyond.“

“Great place to stop by for any meal. We came for breakfast early while traveling they didn't disappoint. You seat yourself and the waitress comes to the table, service is quick and food is delicious. Reasonable prices, delicious cafe con leche. There's also bakery treats. They can get busy but a must stop if you're in the area. Highly recommend.“

“I ordered a pepperoni pizza and received a cheese. The delivery driver just left the pizza on the porch. No knocking or calling. I didn’t know it was out there. It was cold by the time I realized it was there. I get pizza from here all the time and it’s normally amazing. this was the worst“

“I love Italian food—especially mom-and-pop restaurants. My mom and I tried Pomodoro Café for the first time, and wow… hidden gem. The calamari was perfectly cooked—light, crisp, not greasy at all. The spaghetti Bolognese was rich, smooth, and perfectly al dente… the kind of dish that makes you pause and enjoy every bite. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. And Virginia—our server—was amazing. Attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!“

Always clean--no sticky floors or beer smells--and I love that they offer a rotation of food trucks, fun things to do, and outdoor tables when you want to escape from the noise. I'm also excited they will be offering an indoor farmer's market this summer!“

“I'll upload pictures next time as the pizza is so good here, I always get straight to demolishing it and forget to capture the art 😅. One of my most favorite pizza shops on Tower Rd. The 18inch XL is a great deal that will last you a few meals due to the sheer size of the slices. Can't beat the value & most of all, flavor. Ordering is simple especially if do it online. There is a wide topping selection & they always have a deal going that caters to common situations. Both pickup & delivery are quick. Staff are friendly & accommodating & the pizza is piping hot when you recieve it. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quality pizza 👌!“

“Ate at Leonardos last night and ordered a Big Leo. Thought something was missing in the toppings. Couldn’t determine at restaurant. Had a piece for lunch today and found out not a spec of sausage on the pizza. Come on guys, you’re not giving them away.“

“We had my mother’s celebration of life yesterday. The Tower Road Piesanos catered our event. There are no words to express my gratitude to Tim and Mischa for their outstanding service. Tim worked very hard to make everything perfect - even putting up with all my requests. The food was over the top. “The food is always excellent and they have the best customer service. I’m a frequent customer and very rarely have an issue with an order, but if I do, they always make it right. I get the 2 meat combo and almost always have leftovers for the next day, so you get your moneys worth. David’s bbq is a favorite in this household for sure!“

“Food can be so hit and miss here. The pizza was amazing this time but what the heck happen with the cheesy bread?!? Burnt and hard as a rock. The parmesan bread bites were very buttery and yummy. Was ready when said for pick up. (Sometimes it isnt always ready when estimated at this location, can wait up to 20 extra minutes)“

“I called a number trying to reach another restaurant to make an order for someone at work. I hot this restaurant instead. It was a small $12 order and I made the order about 20 minutes before they closed, but he graciously took it and it arrived fresh. He drove all the way from 43rd to the jail (across from the airport) and delivered the food to my job. THEY DO NOT HAVE A DELIVERY SERVICE 🥰. He let me know that they plan to partner with some delivery companies in the future. He could have told me no, we can't and hung up. The service provided was definitely above and beyond and the fact that it was such a small order.....Thank You!“

“Mother’s is a staple bar in Gainesville. The food is homemade and always affordable. The staff are accommodating, friendly, and personable. It is always a fun and safe atmosphere. There is always entertainment of some sort. Management tolerates zero shenanigans and yet will still go out of their way to make you happy.“

“I like the food at Sonny's, but don't go there often because the customer service is hit or miss. Yesterday I phoned in my order. Liz took my phone order, and made sure it was correct. Best of all she was super nice as well as efficient. Thanks Liz, I will visit Sonny's in Alachua more often if you are an example of the customer service at that location.“
