“last night we had teriyaki chicken and steak.. poor quality meats and not cooked with the sauce. it looked and tasted as if about two tablespoons of sauce was dumped on the gristly meat after pan frying. everything else was good. but it ruined my 42ND ANNIVERSARY DINNER. I'll definitely drive to Gainesville for Japanese food from now on. 1 star and that's pushing it....they were rushed when we got there and waited forever for service after being seated.“

“Absolutely amazing experience all around. The food came out good and hot and their buffalo each fries has my daughter begging for them daily! Not gonna lie, I’m pretty crazy about these simple fries too. Most of all, our Waitress was phenomenal!!!! She was very attentive, very enthusiastic, and not too much and definitely not too little. My daughter absolutely loves her and I watched her with other costumer’s and their kids and I could tell she made their kids feel just as great. After I spoke with her and complimented her and her kind nature, I went on to say how I could see her being absolutely amazing working in an environment with children. Her response, “I’m actually in college right now doing my co-Recs so hopefully I can get accepted into the nursing program and work in pediatrics. What??!! She definitely loves working with people so I see her going after a career that will definitely suite her best. She mentioned that’s just the first stop, so…. We all know college kids need a little extra cash especially nursing students, so I left her the tip she not only deserved, but a little extra for her books or whatever she needs. Ask for Kiara!!!! “Talk about YUM. The name says it all. I will be back here many times. They have Chinese food that I have not seen in years.The food was so hot, it burnt my mouth. You only get that with made fresh food.The flavor was as it sould be in Chinese food. All over the place, but complementing each taste individually.The pint of Won Ton Soup had NINE large won tons in it and the broth was perfect. Just enough grease to help everything go down easy.I also had the Hot and Spicy Beef and Vegetables. It was perfect. Comes with rice and an egg roll.The server was the owners daughter. She was sweet and has a great personality.The atmosphere is Chinese. Slight music in the background and Chinese decor.All in all this place is excellent and I highly recommend it.“

“Great time!We’ve eaten at a number of Red Lobsters in Florida from Miami to Orlando to G’ville, but our two visits to the Lake City store stand out for the great service.Our guy tonight was Mark, but we got to see his teammates in action as well. The level of attentiveness, friendliness and even humor was wonderful. Where did they find servers of that caliber in Lake City?!We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it looked like everyone else did too.“

“We tried the hibachi a few years ago and we weren't impressed. But I recently went in to try their sushi after a friend recommended it and it was not only cheaper then the other sushi place in Lake City, but I thought it was also better. So far I have tried the spicy tuna roll, spider roll, and the Atlantic roll. I also tried the avocado salad which is packed with avocado and cucumbers with a tasty light sauce you pour over the top. All times I've been impressed with it. I also decided to try the hibachi again and we loved it! It wasn't too sweet like a lot of teriyaki sauces, and mixed with the other sauce they gave us it was SO good! We don't do any veggies, so I will get fried rice and noodles and I enjoy both. The place was clean when we went in to eat for lunch one day. We drank bottled drinks, so I can't comment on the fountain drink machine they have. Since they cook on that open stove top it makes my clothes smell a little bit once I leave, but it's not too overwhelming. You can also order online or call in an order and pick it up so you're not waiting. Overall, glad we found another place we enjoy.“
