I love Hungry Howie's pizza, but it's not what made me want to leave a review.
The man working the closing shift tonight, September 20th, is a gem. I wasn't having a great night and his demeanor was so pleasant. He'll never know how appreciative I was of this interaction. I've seen him a few times and I've never once experienced him be anything less than kind. I wanted to thank him by name, but it's not on my receipt. Regardless, thank you to him!

We were regulars at this Hungry Howies, until today, July 9th. Everytime I have ordered at the drive through I was politely asked that if someone came up behind me to drive around so they could serve them, and i did. Today, someone was sitting at the drive through window just waiting on her food. After about 8 minutes I decided to back out and go in to order. The kid behind the counter asked of I was ordering or picking up. I stated I've been trying to order, having waited in the drive thru nearly 10 minutes- he cut me off and said rudely "we'll, what are you ordering" I scoffed at being rudely interrupted and started to order, then the anger of being treated rudely set in, and I stopped and said, "all I was trying to say is I always get asked to pull around when I order at the window, maybe ask all guests to pull around if someone comes up behind them" however, all I got out of my mouth was the 1st twelve words, before he cut me off again and said "are you gonna order?" I asked if he was serious and he proceeded to tell me there were only 2 people there. What's new... that's all I've ever seen. So I promptly told him no I wasn't going to order and walked out. I know the owner isn't this rude to his customers, even when it's busy. But I'm on the verge of not going there anymore.

The people who work here are mentally challenged. I went through the drive through and was told to pull up, which ordinarily means they'll bring it out to you. I sat and watched the guy who told me that for about 15 minutes and decided to go inside to see how much longer it would take. Apparently my food had been done for 10 minutes at that point and genius was oblivious to the fact that it was ready. People like this DESERVE to make minimum wage

The food is as good as it ever was. They've really stuck to what makes them great. Great food and great service at an affordable price(still).

As a truck driver it is difficult sometimes to get food. It's not easy finding a restaurant that has ample parking. So we rely on restaurants with delivery service. Hungry Howies in Alachua FL states online they have delivery service. But when I called I was told they do not. I find this hard to believe.Hungry Howies, you need to drop your ability to deliver!

Very Good

Lost our order. Retook and were helpful doing that. Pizza was nasty. It was basically not cooked. Afraid to eat wings as there could have been undercooked as well. Salad was inedible. I do not see how this place averages 4+. Really bad.There are also weird people hanging around the place.
