“Found this place on the way back from vacation just passing through craving Mexican food. This place was great. They have the largest tacos I have ever seen and tasted awesome. Their refried beans and rice were top notch. I will make sure from here out to stop by if ever in the area again. Wait staff was wonderful as well. Chips were hot, fresh and actually salted to go along with the homemade salsa. All around great place to eat.“

“Thank you Taco Bell for acknowledgement of what was wrong an changing it. The new night manager and staff, top tier. As a food service manager, this young lady is amazing. She provided fresh food, even minutes before closing! The night staff dynamic has elevated. I know how hard it is as a food service manager but the new night manager is finally living up to the name and service. Please keep her and recognize her and the night staff phenomal service under her watch. This is when you went to support local business. Ending a late exam eight before finals week and received the best service and food!“

“Las Carretas has been my go to restaurant in Gainesville for 2 years now! But this recent experience shows just how amazing the staff really is. Saturday I suspected I lost a diamond ring at one of the booths. I called Sunday and left my number in case something showed up. I wasn’t hopeful I’d be getting a call back. On Wednesday I got a call from Javi notifying me they found a ring. Turns out, It was my ring !! 😭🥹 I love the food, drinks, and atmosphere of this restaurant but the people who work here are truly great people. Thank you Las Carretas staff for being honest and amazing at what you do. 🫶🏼“

“Thank you for the friendly awesome service and delicious Mexican food!!! Mexicans love great Mexican food! We had a fabulous UF graduation dinner with our party of 25!! The margaritas were amazing! Shots of patron helped get the party on! My daughter loved the birria tacos. My husband said the churasco steaks melted in his mouth! Two bites and down! Delicious!! I can’t tell you how grateful we are to you guys! We chose you because my daughter is part Mexican and because of your rating on google and you lived up to that!! Thank you again!!!!
