My husband said that it was the best Cuban he ever had.

And they're building a new place across the road! Alachua Florida exit 399 off i-75. Great place and people.

Mi Apa serves up great food served by a cheerful staff. You can't beat the reasonable prices.

New review June 2025 (2 stars): they wanted me to give them another chance. I have given them several. The staff is nice, and the service was a bit faster this time, but I always get the steak sandwich and there's always something wrong. I can only imagine it won't be any better at their new location across the street. The sandwich was dry, tasteless, the potato fries were stale, and the sandwich was cold. I won't get food there anymore. It's not worth it. The shakes, coffee, and pastries are still good, though.

2023 (3 stars): They're slow. If you call ahead so you can pick up your order, they'll make it when you get there even if you called 30 minutes before. Food is good, but they always miss something like the fries in the steak sandwich.

I really like this restaurant. They are growing, if you try the food you can understand why, delicious food and good portions. They have pastries too. Excellent service.

Love love MiApa however would love them to have a different fryer for vegetarian food like French fries, veggie empanadas etc also the fried meat smell is so strong that when I leave the place I have to put my close to wash it could use a better food exhaustion coffee is great and the service is awesome

The male employee at the register this morning is a real trash of a person treating his fellow staff like that she did what she was asked I'll make the extra drive to the other location from now on

Mi Apá is a favorite of ours. Whenever we have the opportunity we stop in. I love the pastries, the ropa vieja and the arroz con pollo.

Had the breakfast empanada and cordito coffee. Both were amazing and served up quickly. I will definitely be back!
