My family and I were visiting from out of state and stopped here on our way to our destination around 9pm. Breanna greeted us and said someone should be with us shortly. She and another older Caucasian lady were serving others so we waited our turn. Around 20 minutes later, we still had not been served drinks or checked on, and it was not busy so we were about to leave but I managed to get Breanna’s attention after no one came to take our drink order or anything else. She took our order and got us everything we needed, apologizing for the wait, she thought we’d already been served.
The food was overcooked 🤦🏾♀️. Gentleman on the grill had my grits watery and lumpy. Again, Breanna swooped in with the save, getting me much better grits because I would not have eaten those! The only redemption was Breanna’s vibrancy and courtesy. I also believe there could have been a miscommunication between the staff because the older lady ignored us from the time we walked until later when she told us about Waffle House’s birthday and brought hats for our kids. Maybe she thought Breanna would get us, but. I just felt that certain aspects of our service could have been better, and I would hate to think the worst of certain staff because I have some theories. But overall, Breanna saved this review from being 1 star.

Got pulled over on the way here and fined 150 bucks for curfew, but it was worth the chocolate chip waffles and scrambled eggs. Service was quick, and the workers were super friendly. Got what i expected from a waffle house and more.
