To Wendy’s Corporate office,

I’m beyond furious and you need to hear this, your General Manager (Baubacar Mbengue) at location (516 E Altamonte Dr
Altamonte Springs, FL 32701) turned a simple sauce request into a full-blown nightmare and now I’m banned from your store for life over fifty cents.

I went through the drive-thru. No sauce came with my nuggets. I went inside calmly asked for some. Baubacar Mbengue (GM), instead of fixing it, demanded I pay fifty cents like I’m trying to rob the place. I said that’s ridiculous for a missing item, and he escalated: started yelling, told me to leave, then straight-up trespassed me less than 30 seconds of having a conversation. I asked for a refund and he refused. Then he called the cops while I stood there. Cops showed up, and now I’m trespassed. This general manager’s behavior was a textbook failure: he turned a tiny oversight no sauce with my nuggets into a power trip, demanding fifty cents like it was extortion, then escalating to trespass and cops when I pushed back. That’s not leadership; that’s ego. Real customer service means fixing problems first free sauce, quick apology, done not nickel-and-diming over pocket change while humiliating people. Profit follows loyalty, not intimidation. If he can’t grasp that basic rule, he’s in the wrong job.

This isn’t customer service. This is abuse of power. A grown man weaponizing policy over pocket change, humiliating a paying customer, and calling  law enforcement on someone who just wanted honey mustard.

I’ve been coming to this location specifically for the brownie batter Frosty, and it’s almost always made incorrectly. I usually come when it’s not busy and order just one Frosty, yet it’s consistently wrong. I pay extra for brownie batter, and half the time it’s not even added. I also always ask for chocolate, but it’s frequently made with vanilla instead, so I stopped asking.

Today, my Frosty had an excessive amount of oreos to the point that it was inedible—and I didn’t even order the oreo version. It’s frustrating to pay extra for something that’s rarely made correctly. At this point, I feel like I should be going to a different Wendy’s.

The food was good and the staff was doing there best to keep up with the high volume. Seems like they could have used an extra hand on the floor working registers and preparing orders. Kinda tough for one person to handle all walk ins and mobile orders at once. It will always leave one side waiting. That aside good food and friendly staff.
