Standard diner with incredible food. The ropa vieja is fabulous. Portions are very generous. People are nice. Place for the locals, not tourists, and it was busy. Cuban coffee was excellent, as was their rice pudding.
I was excited to try a local cubano and key lime pie when my uncle suggested it and we ended up placing an order in advance for the sandwiches since they can take a while. What I did not realize is that the sandwiches are massive and one can easily feed three people, especially when adding in sides. The meat was packed a bit thick for my liking and there wasn't quite enough mustard but we were able to remedy that quickly once we got back to the house. Best pan con bistec ever (steak sandwich). As born cuban i know my cuban food and this was the best that i have eaten outside of homemade. The meat was well season. It was so large one was enough to share with my husband. We also bought fried rice for dinner which was also delucious. Great place!
