Can you get more Alys Beach than The Citizen? Excellent lunch! Fresh fish sandwich and top notch cheese grits. You’ll be blessed if Serhii is your server. Steak Frites does not disappoint. Solid 10/10.
Citizen’s bartenders hits it with their cocktails—martinis are crisp, bold, and perfectly balanced. Desserts are dreamy, rich, and hard to share. A sweet spot for a late-night treat.
Oysters were delicious, and other offerings being served looked fantastic. Unfortunately our server seemed unhappy to be serving us and was remarkably unwelcoming. Would try it again and hope for a different staff member , but if I knew the same person would be on deck I’d probably just go somewhere else, as the low quality of table service made the experience somewhat underwhelming.
