The Scallops and rice dishes were delicious, with 5 large sea scallops cooked to perfection, and served with wild rice that was very al'dente. My husband had the Salmon dish with was also perfectly cooked to our request and delicious! We shared the 11 layer chocolate cake, which was good but not as moist as I expected. Maybe it needed to be left out of the refrigeration a little longer.
We are so fortunate to have Coast literally in our backyard. It is such a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions. On this particular night there were several families with young children dining on the terrace with us. It was a joy to watch the children play games on the green space. The food was exceptional as always, tasty with a beautiful presentation. Our server, Andrea, was attentive and professional. As it was our anniversary they presented a dessert of our choice...
We had great expectations for our Easter lunch but were disappointed. We started with a dozen Wianno oysters. They were great, and the cucumber mignonette was tasty. I had the Mayport Shrimp Roll. The shrimp were overcooked and very tough. My wife had the Kale Caesar with Wayport shrimp. The salad was way overdressed, and my wife could not finish it. One expects more from a Ritz.
