We have been coming to Lagniappe since we moved to Amelia Island a few years ago. The pork chops we excellent, mouth-watering, can't get enough. Unfortunately, the last two times we've been there, the pork chop just wasn't that good. Not mouth-watering. I don't know if they changed suppliers or what but it is no longer note worthy. Also, it is supposed to come with green beans. Well I got green beans but ONLY 3. Why put it in the description at all. That's not even one serving. You can do better Lagniappe. Would love to have you back on the top of the list especially since we live on the south end of the island.

The food and service are very good. It would also a very good value if not for their constant nickel and dime strategy for anything that resembles a modification. My wife and I ordered almost identical Grey Goose martinis, her's with Blue Cheese olives and mine with regular olives. The bill came and reflected a $3 charge for Blue Cheese olives that were never mentioned when they asked if we wanted them when we ordered. Their "L" Chicken (fried) is excellent. The side of Mexican Street corn that comes with the chicken is not and never has been good. Because it is sold as a "plate,"when I ordered mine with Collard Greens (excellent) instead I was up charged $8. The corn was not served on the plate. Great place to eat but beware of their little "gotchas" that most restaurants do not charge for.

We had great food and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The shrimp and grits were very tasty; my husband's blackened redfish was also great. The crême brulee cheesecake wasn't as good as I expected and I would not recommend that dessert. Overall, we loved it and will be back.

Menu was good and all the appetizers and dinner items we ordered were delicious. We had a late reservation so we were rushed all through dinner because the kitchen was closing... which kind of ruined dinner for us. So if you're going in on a week day try to go before 8pm. But a great meal over all.

Love the restaurant but the food service was very slow last night due to a large party. Server was great. Calamari wasn't cooked well and the grilled salmon was bland.

Lagniappe is our go-to restaurant here on the island. Their braise special is always incredible and did not disappoint this time either. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Another lovely meal at this neighborhood gem. Those mussels with blue cheese are out of this world and the grilled salmon over Caesar is delicious. Happy hour drinks are gooooood !!!

Even with my restricted diet, the food was wonderful. The chef went out of his way to accommodate my needs. I had an amazing butternut squash bisque. Delightful and full of flavor. My dining companions had the mussels appetizer, in a wine and garlic sauce, and really enjoyed them. We shared a bottle of wine that was very well suited for our entrees. The vegetarian curry dish and the shrimp mac n cheese were also very tasty. We shared a creme brûlée and a lovely peach and berry cheesecake. Will love to come back again, when I am able to try the full menu! Nice ambiance, server was helpful and checked on us often, but not intrusive.
