Poppo's Taqueria - Anna Maria Island

We came in during a rush. I wasn't looking forward to waiting a long time, but the wait wasn't as long as I expected because the line team was SO efficient. In addition to the excellent food, the staff were so nice and friendly! They apologized for the wait (which was not necessary). While eating inside, I watched how they were so friendly with customers and each other. I got the impression that they enjoyed working there and with each other. I was so impressed that I asked for their names so I could include them in this review. Kudos to Hannah, DJ, Kailani, and Jarred! Also to management for this high quality operation.

BTW, this the first review I've written in years. That's how impressed I was.)

I can't wait to go back.

Em, Hannah, Dani, and Andrew were the employees helping us out and they were outstanding!! They were so kind and understanding, and pretty funny too! Food was amazing, so flavorful. Atmosphere is super friendly and pretty cozy. Overall great place, with great food and people. Would 100% recommen.

Super cool and laid back spot that we grabbed a couple of bowls. Build your own bowl is the way to go! Maddie was friendly & patient while we peppered her with menu questions. Oh and try the pineapple salsa…sweet & spicy!

The best food I’ve ever had I’ve actually debated buying a ticket just to fly in to get these tacos! They are so light and fresh so flavorful and amazing I ate them every day of vacation and when I come back in July I guarantee you I will again!

This is a tastier local version of a qdoba. Pleasantly surprised it had a few beers on draft and single bottles/cans options.
