“We had such a great experience at Pizza Social that we went twice during our week-long vacation! Our first visit was on a Sunday evening, and they were very busy—it took about an hour to get our pizza during that peak time. But honestly, it was absolutely worth the wait. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. We came back again on Friday night, and it was much less crowded—our order was ready in about 35 minutes. We tried the AMI pizza, the barbecue chicken pizza, and a classic pepperoni, and every single one was delicious. The staff was also super friendly both times we picked up our order, which made the experience even better. Can’t say enough great things about the food here—definitely a must-visit if you’re on the island!”

Sweet young ladies indulged us with samples and allowed us time to pick the most delicious ice cream ever. I had chocolate with chocolate covered nuts and bits of fudge and a 2nd scoop of salted caramel with pretzel pieces. Yummm! I hope the beautiful young lady that helped me goes to Rod and Reel to meet Josh! Tell him the old ladies sent you ❤️”

“I highly recommend them. They made my wedding cake, cookies and cupcakes-and My best friend’s birthday cake during our stay on the island. They were absolutely amazing!! The customer service was amazing planning a wedding 1300 miles away! The display of the wedding cake was beyond amazing. They paid attention to every detail I wanted and was looking for in doing my beach wedding theme.. great job hometown sweets and I definitely be visiting more when I visit the island”

“Delicious Donuts, great customer service. The Donut Experiment is a unique must-visit on Anna Maria Island, Florida. It's become a cherished family tradition during our winter stays—we always bring the kids, grandkids, and friends. You custom-build your donuts (choose base, icing, toppings, drizzles) and watch them made fresh on the spot. Nothing beats that freshness! This year, my daughter ordered online with her credit card for speed, but I wanted to use a gift card. Manager Charity kindly offered to take the gift card and credit the card later, but needed more info to complete it. A week later, when I returned with more grandkids, she promptly refunded the charge in cash—no hassle. Outstanding donuts paired with exceptional, friendly customer service. Highly recommend!”

“We visited Sushi Ramen AMI twice last week because food is so delicious. We tried miso pork ramen, spicy pork ramen, chicken fried rice, chicken curry and mango rice for desert. Everything was so flavorful and looked beautiful. May was very attentive and helpful with explaining dishes. The place is clean and nice, you can see a chef preparing fresh sushi. I highly recommend Sushi Ramen AMI.”

“Don't have an attitude? the host or Hostess will happily give you one. I would buy this restaurant just to fire them. Local? they'll treat you like a tourist which you would think they would be good to because they are the suckers they are dying to get in. " Hi how long for 2 people"? an hour to an hour and a half out of season.... no "I'm sorry, the wait is over an hour" nope you get "Fair enough" when you say you don't want to wait that long. no reservations yet some dude with a party of 4 just walked right in and was seated.... over rated is an understatement. AVOID ...NOT WORTH IT. Possibly the most overrated restaurant in an area of bad restaurants”

“We really enjoyed our visits to North Shore Café during our trip. The latte was excellent—the caramel flavor tasted fresh and high quality (not sure if it’s made in-house, but it definitely stood out). The avocado toast on sourdough with lime and red chili flakes was so good—I ended up getting it twice during our week-long vacation. It was fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Just be prepared—it’s very busy. There’s no option to order ahead for pickup, and on both a Tuesday and Friday morning, it took at least 30 minutes just to place an order. On a whim, I also tried the strawberry cookies, but unfortunately they were pretty bland and not very flavorful—I only took a bite before tossing them. Overall, just a small disappointment compared to how great everything else was. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!”

“was recently at The Sand Bar for a beautiful and intimate wedding on a postcard perfect Friday night. I was not involved in the planning of this wedding leading up to that wonderful night but the Bride and Groom had nothing but good things to say about the staff here that assisted them in all their preparations. I met Bailey the day of the wedding and she was about the nicest person I have ever met. Her professionalism and organization made any help from us unnecessary. Bailey, Rick the bartender, the entire event staff, the restaurant staff and the vendors were all amazing and made the whole evening a wonderful, seamless affair for family and friends who all came out to celebrate this wonderful couple. I don’t know how they made it look so effortless and even special ordered us a perfect sunset! If you are thinking of having your special event here , you will not be disappointed. Thank you guys again for everything!”
