“Jordan was our server last night and he was excellent. We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. This is our second time eating here and it is our favorite seafood restaurant. From the cocktails that we drank to the lobster bisque and then we had grouper bites and lobster bites for appetizers. For dinner, my husband and I both had the seafood linguine with different sauces and it was good . The only thing I will mention is that the last time we ate there, my husband had the seafood linguine, and it was a lot different than what we had last night. The first time my husband had the seafood linguine, It was much more bigger shrimp and you could tell the seafood was a little bit more presentable. Whereas last night you could tell it was not as fresh, but I still give it five stars because everything was fantastic. I did not eat this last night but the last time I ate there, I had their grouper with the citrus sauce on it and that is the BEST I’ve ever had it. I highly recommend.!! We will be back again.”

Kate immediately attended to us and quickly cleared and sat a table for 9, even though they were really busy. Brian was our server and handled our service and he was excellent as well. “The best meal I’ve had on Longboat Key in 6 years…we did the Savor Sarasota extended meal with wine - $60/person, and everything was well above expectations: great wines by the glass, the tris di bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had, as were the meatballs, and the pastas, branzino and tiramisu all are worthy of ordering again.”

“Oshen at the St. Regis was an experience from the moment we arrived. The property itself is stunning — from the dramatic lighting installations and ocean views to the beautifully maintained grounds filled with vibrant flowers and palms.

We visited around sunset, and the fire ritual ceremony added such a unique and memorable atmosphere to the evening. The food and drinks matched the ambiance perfectly — fresh and beautifully presented.

One especially thoughtful detail was how the entire property transitioned to amber/orange lighting after sunset for turtle season. It created such a unique ambiance while also showing care for the local wildlife and
coastline. Small touches like this are what made the experience stand out even more.”

“We are visiting the island and were hoping to find some doughnuts. After striking out on pine street we headed for a drive on longboat key and stumbled up this cute little place! The owner was lovely to talk to and the doughnuts were SO GOOD!! If we were staying another day we would definitely be back for more!! Gregory, the service he provided and the food were all outstanding! The whole team was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. They gave us space but they were always exactly where we needed them. Everything was done thoughtfully, from the pacing of the courses to the vibe and the attention to detail. There was real care in the overall experience. Obviously, great food matters, but it’s that blend of quality, hospitality, and atmosphere that turns a meal into a memorable experience, and Riva has that completely nailed. We left so impressed and feeling like it was an incredible value for the level of service and care that we got. Easy 5 stars.”
