“My wife and I were staying at longboat key resort and we had done a little research before we came down and came across a YouTube video of Harry and decided we needed to go there. Let me tell you we were not disappointed.”

“We each had the lobster roll which came with lobster bisque and we loved both. Big chunks of lobster in the bisque! Fresh bread and butter was great for dipping. And what a value at $28 each! Indoor or outdoor seating with great views of Sarasota Bay.”

One thing I particularly love about this place is their practice of offering samples of soup or small desserts, allowing you to savor the flavors before committing to a full serving.We celebrated my father-in-law's birthday at Maison Blanche and were pleasantly surprised to find out that the chef's wife, who is also the owner, was celebrating her birthday too. She is incredibly nice, very approachable, and always has a warm smile.Overall, Maison Blanche is a hidden gem, perfect for a lovely formal dinner with a few close people. “Great mom and pop restaurant. Amazing home cooking and a quaint little place. If the weather is nice, you can sit out back on the patio and watch the kayakers fall in the basin. Do not leave without getting a cup of the soup of the day. Zesty cauliflower, beer cheese, and loaded baked potato are some of my favorites. This is where the locals eat.”

“Got a sandwich. A little pricey but it's a captive audience on the key. Tasted good but they forgot our chips and nearly forgot our slices of pie. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch. Just make sure you get everything you paid for before you leave.”

“Can’t say enough about the wonderful time we had here! Sat at a table in the sand near the dock and loved it! Our waitress was so friendly and nice and the food was excellent! We took our son and his wife & 3 children and they all agreed it was the best time! We’ll be back!”

“Very nice service staff, very efficient service. Authentic - and excellent - Mexican food. On Wednesday's they have a Mariachi band. Very talented. Traditional Mariachi style music and more modern songs. In fact, their version of Hotel California tonight may have been the best version I ever heard. A nice night out within walking distance to our home.”

“There use to be an AMEX commercial that said "membership has its privileges " and the Longboat Key Club adheres to this mantra. The food and service at this restaurant are top shelf(4.5 stars) and the menu rotates. Mondays is Burger bonanza night with all the trimmings. All other nights the food is wonderful and the menu diverse. Daily lunches are served from about 11AM to 3PM.Unfortunately, you must be a member or resort guest to enjoy this establishment.”

“I really love the breakfast special which is always available. Two pancakes, eggs how you like them,side of bacon and either home fries or fruit. Yum! We sit at the counter and chat with the servers and locals. ?”

“Husband got the grouper special. Was very good. I had ordered a pizza since they have a pizza oven there by the bar. It looked and tasted like a frozen cardboard pizza. Don’t know why they wouldn’t be serving fresh pizza here but stay away from ordering the pizza as it doesn’t look or taste appealing.”

“First time at this restaurant, because the locals were saying it was really good. It was not only good it was wonderful! Everything was served and at a perfect relaxed pace by our waiter Alan. From the crusty Italian bread with marinara dipping sauce …whetting our appetites with a Tomato Al Caprese..through the family-style salad and …into the main entrees of Chicken Marsala and Veal Cannelloni, and topped off with a Limoncello cake and Cannolis, everything was mouthwatering and delicious! Each item was enhanced by a robust bottle of Pino Noir❤️ We will definitely be back as there’s so many more items on the menu that we want to try!”

“We went in early December on a weeknight, we made a reservation, it turned out. It wasn’t really that busy, about half full perhaps. We were seated immediately at an intimate table near the window in the far room room. Very quaint dining room. Formal. Our waiter was very attentive. We got a bottle of wine. It was a small kitchen out in the dining room, where they would prepare Caesar salad and some flambé dishes. My wife’s cousin recommended this place, the duck was highly recommended, I had it, and it was absolutely delicious. After dinner, we went upstairs to the separate dessert room and got a great presentation on the desserts that they had that night. I had the Keylime pie. It was delicious. A little Baileys on the rocks has a nightcap.”
